  • It’s probably the best we have access to on iOS

Buuuuuuut definitely needs some work. A few things I have noticed and would love to see improvements upon:

    1. Tera raid information - when you look at the list of raid Pokémon it shows what level they can be and if they’re a version exclusive and that’s about it. It would be beneficial to include the move pools and item drops associated with each Pokémon per raid level. I have seen this information elsewhere.

    2. Sandwiches - would be cool if we could enter our own recipes or otherwise make notes about sandwiches. Locations of ingredients would be cool too since some of them are only unlocked after certain in-game events or only available in certain cities.

And one thing I just want since the S/V neglected to include: a regional map where we could mark it with things! Just little pins where I could write a note! Or symbols! But I don’t think many others would care so take this last point as me screaming into the void.

  • Needs some work

Really great overall but really wish you could build a team with ANY Pokémon not just ones specific to a certain game like I would love an option for a national dex that includes every single pokemon

Great news: a national dex is now available! Test it and let us know if you like it! Thanks
  • Awesome App

I love this app. Its speedy, and fully informative. I literally use it with everyone pokemon i run into i dont recognize. Finding out the types, stats, moves, and additional info all easily displayed. Looking up TMs and move description/info also good to use. The type chart is a little hard to cross check but still useful. This app provides everything a pokedex should which is why I gave it 5 stars.

I do wish it had better comparison tools, and something like a damage calculator with consideration to a pokemon’s stats and type, move type, move damage ect. Also identifying where TMs are located and more thorough explanation of certain mechanisms. Honestly, just taking all the game relevant from bulbapedia and implement it into this app so i dont need to bounce back and forth between bulbapedia and aimless google searches. This app should strive to be my one stop app to answer ALL my in game questions.

Again, very happy as a pokedex app though!

  • Exactly What I Want

This is exactly what I want from a Pokemon app. Filtering Pokemon by game and types, using the type chart for attack type coverage instead of just defenses, creating teams, etc.

There is a current issue that I want to bring up to make it sure the developers are aware. When trying to open a move page from a Pokemon page, and it is not a move the Pokemon learns by level-up, it takes very long to open or doesn’t at all. I would think this is an easy fix since it doesn’t happen for every move, so I still give this app a 5-star. I saw another review about this so I know it's not just me.

Two suggestions I have to improve usability, if feasible, is to allow for redirecting to ability pages from a Pokemon’s page (just like it does for moves), and have a button that directs back to the home screen from anywhere to prevent having to click back multiple times.

  • Needs some quality of life improvements and then it’s perfect

I’ve been experiencing some weird issues where when checking moves for Pokémon when you click on the move the description doesn’t pop up. Or it will but go away almost instantly. Also when using the team building function it would be nice to check for information on moves aswell. It’s a bit annoying having to go back and forth from dex to team builder for information. Also you can check item information but it cuts of after one line and there’s no way to see more of it. Over really nice app that is sleek and has a lot of useful features but it needs more time being tested so developers can actually get more feedback to make a better app. Would rate 3 at current state but I really like this app and want it to become better so I’ll rate it 4.

  • Good BUT

It’s a great app, paid for the full version, the only issue is that many times, when you go on the pokemon you want you can only see the description of the moves they learn by level. All the other moves like TM or egg moves can’t be opened to see the description, and it’s many times frustrating as you can’t see directly the description of the attack

  • Incredible App but still needs tweaks.

My rating is more like a 4.5/5, because this app is truly amazing. The UI is great, intuitive and really fun to navigate and explore, and is constantly being updated the dev(s). I’ve been using this app for the better part of a year now, and being able to look up pertinent info on Mons such as their in-game location, movepools, items, and even create checklists and build teams for each game is amazing.

There is a slight issue, however, that I’ve been experiencing since Sca/Vio. When looking up a Pokémon and going over into its “Moves” section, once you scroll down into its learn set by TM and breeding, tapping on a move does not bring the description window for the move. It does perfect fine when you tap on move in it’s level up learnset, but anything past that and the app just does nothing.

This causes me to have back all the way to the begging page and lookup moves in a different section of the app, which takes me out of the Pokédex and the Pokémon in particular I was looking up. It’s not a MAJOR issue, but this does break the flow of the app for me a bit, especially since this wasn’t a common occurrence before the recent updates. So here’s to hoping the devs can recognize and fix this issue. Otherwise, I’m having a fantastic time using the app and always look forward to future updates.

  • Promising

Love how up to date this app is, by far one of the best out right now.
However I’d love to see an upgraded filter system, so you could filter by generation, and you can select multiple types at once.
I do wish the team building section have the option to bypass the generation option and simply do all Pokémon. Also maybe a feature that allows you to hold down on items or moves to expand them so we can read exactly what they do?

Anyhow, the app is great, I’d love to see it updated more!

  • Best Pokémon app on the App Store

I’ve gone through many apps on the App Store to find one that has all the information that you need to know and this has been by far the best one. Absolutely worth getting the pro version as they update the app very fast and it gives you everything you need. Not to mention it’s very aesthetically pleasing without losing content.

  • Great Dex

This really is a great Pokédex app - ESPECIALLY since it’s free. You can tell that they are actively updating and developing it as the games and the community grows which is super important. The models and information they use can be really tough to find, and with gen 9 being out for less than a month, they’ve already supplied all the basic information you’d need before consulting Google

I use it practically every day or every time I play, and you can really see the effort that went into it, and I’ve never had a problem. And one again - it’s FREE, and community driven. Show me a better free Pokédex app, I’ll wait. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when they’re done developing and where they’ll take it
