  • Good app but one big problem

This is a good Pokédex probably the best for that matter but there is something that needs to be made clear to the developer. For me and most of the other people who download these Pokédex apps one of the most important features is the team builder.

It is also my personal favorite features of these apps and most people like to make multiple teams but if make people pay for that it’s kinda childish no offense to the developer whatsoever you’re obviously very talented butI downloaded this app like a year ago and that wasn’t there and people are not going to buy that it’s not really worth the money. I mean I don’t really care about money but that’s kind of ridiculous. If you really want to get people to buy something then add new features like a battle mode or something I would pay for that.

Again you are a very talented developer and I mean it when I say that this is probably the best Pokédex app out there but that’s kinda of ridiculous and as a game developer especially a mobile game developer this is stuff that you need to know. Also please respond if you read this

  • Great - But has some bugs

This app is very useful! It’s like having a Pokédex of your own. I often get mixed up with specific typings so I often use the advanced type chart. There are some bugs that will show up every update (but that’s usually to be expected). The current bug as of this review is trying to create a checklist through the “locations” section will crash the app. There is one inaccuracy I have found in the information on the app, and that is that the Pokémon “Rolycoly” is not listed as a Pokémon that is visible in game on Route 3 in Sword and Shield. I don’t know if that was intentional or not because they only show up later in the route, but they should still be included in my opinion.

Overall an amazing app for Avid Pokémon players, it really enhances the experience. With checklists, party building and the advanced type chart, you’re really getting all of the best information without the need of internet and easily accessible on your phone. The app is well formatted and in my opinion as a long time Pokémon fan, the best Pokédex app on IPhone

  • Great Pokédex, a few improvements and it will be perfect.

First I’ll start with why I like the app, I like how you can see the full roster of Pokémon from all the generations, including locations, shiny versions, weaknesses, and advantages.

I also really like how you can save your own Pokémon team so if you ever needed to look up a quick fact it’s right there for you. (Unfortunately that is behind a pay wall that I will not be paying)

The biggest downside for me and why I won’t be using the app is theirs no information on what level Pokémon evolve, what stones evolve which Pokémon. Then with sword and shield some Pokémon have special requirements for evolutions and their is zero information on any of that.

When I look up a Pokédex online, I’m not trying to find out if it’s a grass type or water or flying which is really all this app is just a list of the Pokémon and little facts about their strengths and weaknesses which is okay but not what I need.

If they including evolution levels and requirements on this app, I would 100 percent use it everytime but looks like serebii it is for now :(.

  • Such an amazing map but could be better!

This is probably the best dex out there which is crazy cause it could be even better! Some suggestions I recommend to the devs mostly has to do with the team creator. It would be cool to allow us to click on the Pokémon in the team creator in both the top where all team is shown and individually as well when going down the list so we can see all the stuff we see when he click on them in the normal Pokédex. Another small thing I wish we could do was rearrange the team order. It’s not a big deal but that would be cool. Could we also see the typing below the team in the top where the whole team is shown. One last thing is, idk if it’s in the app already but can we filter Pokémon only if they’re able to be found in the game? And lastly when we create filters can you allow us to just remove one filter rather than the entire thing?

Other than that great app! A few of the TM’s locations are wrong but for the most part it’s been great!

  • I truly love this app!

I love that you give almost all the information about each and every pokemon, however there some things that you developers could improve on.
    1. Give the location of where you can find the items in the game like you do with the “catch” tab with each pokemon!
    2. Make a compare tab for pokemon! Show the stats of two pokemon and see which ones overall stats are better than the others! This would help us with choosing which pokemon to use depending on the type in each game!
    3. Have a sort option for pokemon with gender differences! Just a little something to add to see what pokemon with gender differences look like in game. (Show what female/male pokemon look like!)
    4. Add pokemon animations per each game! Show what their animations are in each pokemon info page! I know that’s a lot to ask but it’d be fricking awesome nonetheless!

That’s it from me for now! Hope this feedback reaches you developers! Thank you guys for this awesome app! You guys are awesome keep it up!

  • A great updated Pokédex

I enjoy the features telling where Pokémon are and in what frequency and time of day. The move tab under each Pokémon is also extremely useful as it allows me to plan my team’s growth ahead. In later generations, the evolutions tab is also helpful.

I do recommend the full premium pack. This app is nearly fully usable for free, and the parts which aren’t are not necessary for most Pokémon game players. The ads however, especially the video ads, get really annoying.

The biggest two drawbacks I have found to this app are that the checklists are not well explained. I don’t know how to limit the Pokémon on the checklist and check them off. I can name the list and select an icon, and I can assign Pokémon to a list from their page, but I’m not sure how that affects the list. Are they checked off or just in the list?

The second is that for some weird reason, the app will not load unless either connected to the internet or cellular data is turned on. If I load it with an internet connection and leave the range of the internet with the app still open, it works fine. It would be nice to see a future version simply load up offline, it’s not like premium users are loading ads or that data needs to be updated immediately or in real time. It just doesn’t make sense.

All in all, it is an excellent app with a couple of quirks. I highly recommend it.

  • Reasonable

First you choose which game you’re playing and you can change this option for any Pokémon game. You can look at the Pokédex section for every Pokémon, however when you are looking at a Pokédex entry I couldn’t immediately find the move-set or at what level it evolves.

This is from the developer: "The app actually shows ... For example, Pokémon's moves, evolution and locations are all available from the Pokémon's sheet. At the bottom of the screen, there is a tab bar you can use to display the info you want..."

You can find every catchable Pokémon in any area specific to the game and find HMs and TMs but still avoids spoilers wherever it can; for example, ProDex will not tell you what a Moon Stone actual purpose is or the Gym Leaders Pokémon roster, at least I could find. At this time.

The app actually shows most of the things you are talking about. For example, Pokémon's moves, evolution and locations are all available from the Pokémon's sheet. At the bottom of the screen, there is a tab bar you can use to display the info you want. Thanks
  • Best Pokédex App out there and gets better with each update!!💜🥰💜

I bought this app roughly 2 years ago. Back then it had some issues in various areas. But the developer really cares about this, and I messaged them on Twitter about the issue with height and weight for nearly all entries across all Pokédex versions having the incorrect unit label. It was fixed within 2-3 days, which was amazing. I use this for every Pokémon game I play, as I have them all, and I’m so happy they added lists! I used to have this giant excel file to keep track of what Pokémon I was catching in each game, and a separate file for my living dex. It was such a pain. I can’t recommend this app more to people, the fully paid version is awesome, but if you just need a Pokédex for a specific game, or an older one, they have options to just buy what you want.

  • Great app!

I’ve recently been trying to find a Pokédex app just for the heck of it since a phone is very similar to one. This is by far the best app I’ve seen so far and the pro version is not bad as far as price goes!

The only thing, and this is very nit picky and probably shouldn’t even matter, is that acuity cavern is missing from the locations for Pokémon brilliant diamond and shining pearl. Now I know there’s no actual Pokémon in the cave aside from uxie and I don’t know if any other locations from games are missing too, but if this could be addressed, that would be cool. If not, like I said before, it’s not even that big of an issue if at all.

  • Great Resource!

I recently have been in this spurt of replaying all of my favorite Pokémon games and have found this app to be a wonderful resource as I’m playing through! I have referenced this app on multiple occasions throughout my gameplay! Keep up the great work!

Suggestion: is there a way in a future release to be able to swipe across through different Pokémon in the Pokédex? I find it a little obnoxious as I select one Pokémon, if I want to swipe to the next Pokémon, such as it’s evolution, that I have to back out and then select the next one in the list. Is this a possibility?
