Can’t get it to work :( I’m pretty amazing with tech and this is not user friendly...love KAWS but whoever developed this did a horrible job

Thank you for your review. We'd love all our audience to experience the app but do not encourage the gathering of people right now due to COVID-19. A small version of COMPANION (EXPANDED) is now free until April 15 to enjoy at home or a place of your choosing. We can appreciate this app may not be for everyone, so thank you for giving it a try!

Great App perfect timing

This app is awesome. The concept of AR as edition artwork is amazing. Using the map to locate the works is cool and I was able to go around NYC and find the larger scale works. On a smaller scale basis, the small AR works have provided endless entertainment to me and my family during this Corona quarantine. My kids love placing the companions all over the place and creating fun photos. I am really excited about the future of this App, and the use of AR as a new medium for artists.

Biggest Money Grab

This app is a joke. You pay money to “rent” an AR sculpture that you can only see when using the app and after 30 days it disappears. This might be the biggest money grab Kaws came up with so far. Definitely don’t recommend and recommends he gets back to making real art.

It simply doesn't work

I have an iPhone 11 Pro with top of the line augmented reality capabilities and this app doesn't work. It doesn't work for location drops (I tried Times Square & Washington Square Park for 10-15 minutes each) and the purchased Artwork is buggy at best and completely non-functioning at other times. And when it does work it's far tinier than 45cm. Complete and utter disappointment.
