  • Not granular enough

It’s ok I guess, but I could almost as easily just log into the site or refer to my weekly report email. How about things I really need - like my son being able to appear offline by default, or again being able to start parties that are invite only by default. How about preventing kids from sending invites more than once every 30 secs to same person? These would be genuinely useful controls for a parent. Let me worry about the time my kids spend online, and you focus on giving me tools to keep them safe from strangers and also constant social pressure to be “in the group”

  • Almost there!

Finally I don’t have login to the site every time my kids send a request for additional computer time whenever they run out of their quotas.

**Suggestion**: To the team maintaining/developing this app, provide the possibility to pause access on demand and not just when the allotted time runs out. It’s a key feature of any parental controls app. e.g. at dinner time all the parent would have to do to bring them to the table is a single click on the app to pause access. Holding back a star for that feature!

  • Useful, but...

The app has been useful. However, it would be nice if I could click on the link my child is wanting permission to view. Sometimes it’s not just a simple website. It will be a long link to a specific picture, or game, etc. being able to tap the link and see what they want to see would make the app a ton better. Even the capability to copy and paste would be beneficial

  • Finally an app! Room for improvement

Glad that MS finally made an app. Overall decent but still missing some key features like changing children’s screen time by day and allotment of time. Has all the use reporting by time and app. I won’t use it much as typically use it to add or adjust time as rewards which I still have to use the web app to accomplish

  • Not bad

Why do I have to go back to the web to enable screen time? Come on...
  • Wow!

Thank you so much for creating this app! This has made editing screen time for my children and monitoring their use sooo much better!! I can’t wait to see future updates and more features added! Maybe add a way to fund Microsoft accounts for spending 😉 thanks again Microsoft. Keep up the great work!
