  • Hate the new update!

    I have loved playing this game from day one! That is, until randomly in the middle of a game two days ago, a message popped up that I could purchase a hint, taking me totally off-guard and causing me to lose that round.
    I can’t stand that message popping up during every round, and the new “Books” that also pop up are are ridiculous. I have no idea what in the world they’re for or how or why to use them. I feel that these updates have ruined my game performance as well as my streak, and I will no longer be playing this game.

  • Game has been destroyed by latest update

    Word blitz developers recently changed a very fun and pleasant game into an annoying money grab. Suddenly your game is stopped by some stupid “tip” and it won’t let you go back to the round. You have to forfeit that game. Then they are constantly trying to get you to sell these stupid books or buy the stupid books and then they hit you up for large amounts of real money to buy god knows what stupid thing. You’re supposed to pay money or points or both, I have no idea, in order to get a slightly higher point. Whoever redesigned this game should be fired, you totally ruined something that I played daily and really enjoyed.

  • Great game for the most part

    I love this game, but at times I believe the game makes it harder for you to win if you play well. It will give some “other players” more time than others get. Sometimes the words are different than the “other player” has, like they had a different group of letters to choose from. Sometimes players get a crazy score like 4800 or higher and I believe they’ve either figured out how to cheat, they’re put in intentionally by the game or their an alien or something. I can go fast as all get out and not have pauses hardly between words and the best I’ve ever done on a single round is around 2,200 points. Also, you have cheats that like to let their smart friends play for them and that’s a low life that does things like that.

We understand it can be frustrating to play against some very skilled players. Please rest assured that we keep a close eye on our game to prevent cheating. You can report individual players in the match overview if you suspect them. However, please note that you should get the exact same board as your opponent and the same time to play in a 1on1 match.   • Lost Connectivity To Word Blitz

    I enjoyed the game with a few friends and family along with a couple of individuals that our skills were matched with the system. However after the most recent update I get the notifications of the longest daily word, in addition once an individual has challenged me to a game.

    Needless to say I’m unable to open or access the game, or should I say I’m able to accept it however it NEVER connects its like it’s thinking continuously spinning or thinking but it never opens. I’ve even shut off the IPAD or rebooted to no avail I can’t get connected.

    I’m thinking it must be system problems however I’m still getting notifications of pending games or I’ll lose if not played back within two days, you know the game rules. Can you share why I’m not currently unable to access and play the game?

    So for those who are able to access or when I could, it’s addictive and love to play I’m now at a loss. I must find another game since this one is no longer available to me to play.

  • Broken

    With the last update, my game no longer lets me in. It just keeps trying to open but won’t. I’ve been playing a long time. I don’t want to lose my friends nor status. I sure hope you fix this quickly.
    I don’t usually leave reviews. But I haven’t heard back from support so want to make sure the developers know there’s an issue. A friend from another game has the same issue. I’ll update my rating if you fix my game and I don’t lose points from games I can’t respond to in time. I’m in 2nd place amongst about 20 friends. I’m trying for 1st. This isn’t helping!!

  • Love it

    I actually kind of like how there are no power ups- it’s just straight knowledge and what you can do. The only issue I’m having is that, for the life of me, cannot figure out where and how to play these leagues!! I can do random and play with friends and the arena. But how do I access the leagues??

    Update: ok, yes, now that im over 7000 I see that I’m in a league of some sort. What makes another player have little leaves under their name icon?

Or are you talking about tournaments only available in the Facebook version of game?   • Bots(?)

    I’ve been playing this game for a while now and I really enjoy the whole game but this one thing. When I’m playing a game, I just loose every time because of the people I match up with are bots?? I really don’t know about this but I’m bad this game, it’s just you know how normal people win rounds and the other person loses? Normal thing, right? But people are so good at this game, it seems like they are bots. like they scored like… about 1300 points a round or a bit higher than I suspected. Then after a few games after losing against the person, they try to play with you again and again until you lost a ton a trophies. Just letting everyone know. Stay safe!

    Thank you for your feedback. Please be assured that we do our best to notice and stop suspicious behavior in the game. Usually, it is simply a matter of particularly fast word acrobats with a lot of practice, fast fingers and a large vocabulary. If you think that a player is too good at the game, you can report them to us directly in the game in the overview with this person.
  • Sound changes

    I’ve been playing now for about 3 or more years. Love the game, however, they just changed the sounds for when you’re playing an I think it’s just awful. I’d like to hear what others think about it. Also, my game has a glitch. After 3-4 consecutive games, all of a sudden I have zero sounds while playing. I rely on them when I’m hunting words. Otherwise it’s my favorite game. I don’t play through FB, I play just with the app.

  • Great game, just one request

    I’ve been enjoying Word Blitz a lot, I’d just like to ask if instead of a Background Music and Sound Effects toggle, we could have a sliding scale instead?

    When I’m on a call, especially if I use speakers, the game sounds are too loud compared to who I’m speaking with. And I actually really rely on the in-game sounds while playing. It’d be nice if I can set how loud the game sounds are on my own terms.

  • The ads are insane.

    I just came back to the game today after a long hiatus from it.

    So, Now?, …More than 40% of the playing time is spent watching Ads , for crappy even more ad riddles games. It’s a perpetual developer’s Heaven, to force feed useless game ads at EVERY round of the game, meaning we watch TWO MINUTES of ads for every 4 minutes of game play. And worse, sometimes the ads freeze the game, losing even more time.
    I really do like the game but I don’t play enough to pay for no ads and yet the time I DO PAY is more than it’s worth so I will likely just delete it again.
    Bottom line, if you like watching Ads 3 times per game, hey enjoy it!
