The app alerts you when power come off. It works onsite and remotely. All you need is a cell phone and a charger.
Notification too loud
The app is useful, but the default notification sound is way too loud. Can you add an option to select your own notification sound from the list of iPhone built in sounds?
I like how the alarm goes off as soon as it is unplugged I wold recommend it to everyone

Useless App not as advertised
I lost my power during a thunderstorm. I wanted an app that would shaw me a map out power outage areas and possibly updates as to when power would be restored. I saw maps and charts on advertisement but no on actual app.
I don’t see the purpose of this app as is. I didn’t need an alarm to sound when power goes off. I’m alerted automatically when Lights, AC, TV and all powered devices stop working. I also do not need to be notified by email of obvious power outage. I especially don’t need an app to turn on my phone’s flashlight.
Not worth the purchase price or the additional “Upgrade to Pro” price which I believed would show me maps and charts. I already deleted useless app.

Great little app, works prefect
Email notifications work great when phone is on cellular connection
In my particular use case, my phone is on WiFi — not cellular — and the WiFi router’s power fails simultaneously with the phone’s charging source. In this situation, this app does not seem send an email notification about the outage probably because it has encountered some sort of error condition when trying to connect to the email server and simply abandons the notification. Hope this helps.

The Perfect Solution
This provides exactly the power-outage functionality I need to be alerted at night. It’s a great alternative to the numerous too-simplistic, specialized alert devices.
Not useful
Not really as useful as you might think when you are worried power might go out in the middle of the night.
