I love all the apps
This one, barre, has fewer bells and whistles than the others and I think both the barre and the yoga are best for people who have taken at least few live beginner classes, but I really love that I can set the time, that they always change, and that I can listen to my own music or even a podcast or audiobook if I want to instead of their music. Lately I have been switching off the barre and HIIT apps and just fitting in occasional yoga, and this has been working for me. I love that when this routine starts to feel old, I can do something different. Adding this: I am in my 50s and plus sized, and I find this barre app helps me so much with my alignment and posture and warding off injury

Beaucoup trop difficile pour les débutants
J’étais toute heureuse de commencer ma pratique barre. Je suis aller chercher une chaise pour réaliser que la séance commençait en planche. Plus de 5 minutes consécutives en planche pour un niveau débutant? Vraiment?
Good enough
I use down dog yoga app and that one is great. Comparing Barre with yoga, Barre has way less options, I.e. no level selection, no time to allow for transition between the poses, no voice selection. You can only choose time lapse for poses, length of practice and music. I practice yoga for a long time and am completely new to barre - I must say yoga experience is very handy for barre, it gives you the range of movements, balance and flexibility needed to do barre. Another thing is that 20 minutes of barre is much harder than same time doing yoga, you work much harder. I will keep on exercising. Good enough app.

Barre workout
Intense workout but wish there were modifications shown or explained for beginners. Also the instructor looks really miserable. I understand that she is wanting to have a neutral expression but she looks more disinterested than neutral. It was distracting.
I’ve been using DownDog for 5 years!
I’ve been recommending DownDog and its family of apps for years. It has saved my life and taken me out of deepest and darkest time of post-partum, depression due to divorce, and body dysmorphia. I’ve lost over 25lbs with this app and I got to keep going. The practices are never the same and the music of all kinds keep me engaged. Thank you DownDog! Hope to see a parent+kid geared app in the future so that my son can practice alongside me

Great workouts if you have a limited amount of time, 25 minutes works you up to a sweat!
Très exigeant
L’application est très bien faite mais je regrette de ne pas pouvoir choisir le niveau de difficulté. On dirait que c’est conçu pour les personnes déjà très athlétiques. Je fais pourtant du ballet chaque semaine mais c’est impossible de suivre l’entraînement downdog au complet. Les exercices de barre sont très difficiles et longs, avec peu de temps de récupération. Ce n’est pas pour les débutants.
