No carry forward from previous logbook

I was so excited about this app. Rey easy to use and I love the fact that after importing my schedule, all I need to do is put in my oooi times and it does everything else even giving the option for my crew.

My ONLy issue is this: after inputting my times from previous logbook, it shows in the carry forward section (which is great) however when I go to export my logbook and print in pdf format it do est seem to have my previous totals so the pdf I my shows the times i put into rb which defeats the entire purpose.
I got frustrated and ended up having to transfer ALL my rb times into my old electronic logbook. Took me 10 days for the 15 months I had used rb.
I emailed and after 2 weeks got an answer with no resolution.
Again I had high hopes but very disappointed. I won’t be renewing my subscription.

Tech support is horrible!

I paid for the premium subscription the app continues to revert to the free version. Not able to use most of the features offered. Not able to export and print logbooks if needed. I would definitely not recommend this app.

Needs improvement

Had this logbook for years now and it is still riddled with issues with exports.

Works well & minor issue resolved

I have been using RB logbook for around two years now. It works as advertised and syncs with RB which I use to let my family know where I am. I had a small issue where the premium didn’t work after changing passwords. However this was quickly resolved by the support team. So all good!

Works well and integrates with RosterBuster

Tech support horrible

App is ok for inputting flight times from flights and the ability to sync to Roster buster is nice.
However the app has issues.
1)Unable to input totals from previous logbooks- “ save “ button doesn’t work.
Sent a trouble ticket in about this issues tech support responded a month later saying they needed more info. Sent the more info requested and it been 2 weeks now and just got an email saying my issue has been put in the que.
2)The filter function is worthless and does not return what asked for.
3) The graph of flight times - why is this helpful?
4) how much did I fly last year, month? Don't know just a graph.

Poor Support

I have been trying to link Roster Buster to to RB Logbook however they are not talking to each other. It has been six days since I emailed customer support but have not received a response. I even paid for a month subscription but my account is still showing the free version. The concept looks good but the execution is lacking.

Looks like the support team replied to this review, but not my email to them. I was able to cancel the month subscription through Apple and I am also cancelling my annual subscription to Roster Buster as the customer service is the same.

Full of glitches.

I’ve been trying this app for a year. Discovered lots of bugs. One example is not being able to download the following month roster until the very last day of previous month. I have reach out to customer service multiple time, never got a reply. Terrible customer service. Inexistant. Avoid this app. Lots of better options out there.

ACARS Pic upload not working, month later and still no answer

This has been good and easy sync between Roster Buster and the logbook. Since December, when I go to upload an ACARS picture the screen goes black, says there’s been an error and try again but then won’t go back to where I can try again. Just a black screen. I have to close the app and try again, only to get the same error. I emailed support a month ago and a follow up last week, zero reply. The app says it will work on my phone and iOS version and no app updates appear on the AppStore. Not sure what’s happening at CAE but this isn’t the product or service I’ve seen in the past.

UPDATE They finally replied two days after this review and said they’re removing the ACARS picture upload/scan feature. This is the main reason I used the log book over Safelog or others. The integration with RosterBuster and easy updates with the ACARS scan feature, even when not 100%, made logging quick and easy. RB, you don’t have as much data manipulation as others, what you had was integration and convenience and now you’ve removed it from you app. RosterBuster has data export so why use this log book if I can export to another, more robust app? When you do shut this down, will you give notice so we can get our logbook data or will the screen just go blank like ACARS upload did for the last month and a half with zero replies from customer service for another month? Ironically, they still show ACARS upload on the advertisement screenshots for this app in the AppStore.
