Poor app, full of glitches

I really don’t like to write negative reviews because I just keep it moving but this app is really awful! I can never log in the first go, it times out, or tells me there’s a problem. If I do end up getting logged in, it takes forever to try to load anything. I have deleted it and reinstalled it several times. It’s terrible. I don’t complain about much but my goodness, something has to be done! We’re forced to use this through our MLS. I would definitely not be using this by choice if I had one!

That might be the best way to describe the current state of this app…been using this service for almost two years and it’s still pretty terrible. I only gave it two stars because every now and then it works but the consistent timing out, crashing of the app and not receiving push notifications when agents schedule Showings is beyond annoying. I’m in the camp with a lot of other agents who were willing to jump on to something new because our broker and area association were excited for it. But something has to change. It’s frustrating to tell sellers we have an issue with the showing service and I cannot personally do anything to Fix it except get yelled at.

Garbage

Our MLS switched us over to BrokerBay without so much as a discussion with us about it and it’s horrendous. You can’t send clients itineraries, you can’t text message another agent from the app (you’re only presented the option to chat within the app which is ridiculous) and the scaling on the app is off so sometimes you get stuck in screens and you just have to restart the app.

6 months later and it’s still trash. They spend more money on the marketing than the backend coding on the app.

8mo same bugs still exist

Our team is just disappointed with the app in general. Scheduling appts on the fly is extremely important and a lot of times it can’t be done in the moment. Or, logout, log back in…or uninstall, reinstall. Meanwhile the customer is standing there wondering why you are glued to your phone instead of paying attention to houses.

What a mess of an app

App on my phone rarely seems to work properly… another time I cannot make my own showings online, so I had to call BrokerBay, and today the app is completely worthless. Unable to schedule a showing after entering the address. App seems to randomly freeze. All of my other applications are working just fine and my Internet is blazing fast. I have gone back to using the showing software I was using before, for all of my showings and listings.

Absolute Worst App I’ve ever been forced to use!!

Worst real estate all I’ve ever been forced to use! Never works, consistently glitching, and there is no on demand representation to call when I can not schedule something.

Completely unpractical for a real estate professional! I would rather risk showing-time using and obtaining our markets RE data for Zillow, than use this blatantly controlling app (obtaining data for their own reasons).

Trash app and CS

After being forced to move to Broker Bay because of politics and such… We are a year into it and the app in the program aren’t improving. In fact they’re getting worse. The customer service is terrible. It has been outsourced not only that but the app times out… It won’t load in a timely manner. I have deleted it and reinstalled it multiple times. My clients aren’t getting feedback or notifications that they request to be in on… I’ve had listings on auto confirm that aren’t getting confirmed automatically. I’ve had listings beyond auto confirm for a while and then suddenly change and it’s embarrassing when another agent or appraiser or inspector has to call you and ask if they can go in the property because it’s not on auto confirm and we aren’t getting notifications. This app makes us look super unprofessional, and the fact that we are paying for it and our dues makes me even more angry. I am OK with paying for the things that are included in our dues but not for something that doesn’t. Broker Bay is certainly a great name for something that’s never broker lol.

The worst

I never write reviews- I was taught “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Well, I have had it with this poor excuse of a scheduling program - I’m about ready to scream. We have had this new program for about a year now and it is the most cumbersome, poorly designed app I have ever used. My sellers don’t receive showing notifications, it constantly times out, sometimes doesn’t even load and I can’t see my appts- which it always fun when you have buyers standing next to you wondering where we are going next, the scheduling tour is a joke, I could go on and on… plus they don’t have a number to call (and if they do they make it very hard to find it) which says volumes about customer support. I miss showing time soooo much. Unfortunately, my MLS system has decided that we agents have to use this horrible excuse of a program which makes our jobs 10 D’s harder. Just absolutely the worst.

If I could give less than one star I would.

I used to the ink the Showingtime app was hot garbage. How I wish I could even log on. I’ve updated the app, rebooted phone, trying to schedule a showing for tomorrow morning as my clients just sent me the listing. The phone number is closed and I’m not going to call the list agent this late at night. Haven’t been able to get in the app for a week now. Get this fixed!!
