The inspire app is a very good to exchange information with others experiencing a similar cancer diagnosis that will help improve the quality of life and hopefully lead to better patient outcomes. An excellent way for sharing valuable tips for a better experience during treatment and care. I have been using inspire since I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2015 . It has been so wonderful talking to people in the same situation and to this day are my friends . During all that process of eventually having my bladder removed I got lots of good information and help. Now with my osteoarthritis I have found another helpful site ! I only wish I knew about this website when I had my ileostomy surgery! Things were very difficult and personal relationship was tested. It feels amazing knowing that there is a whole community of fellow ostomates that care, are understanding of what your dilemma is and more than happy to help even if you need a shoulder or need to vent! I have been a member of the brain tumor community on Inspire since 2016. The app is quickerThe ABTA online support found on the Inspire Platform for people impacted by brain tumors, especially brain cancer is the single most effective support that helped me throughout my son’s illnessto check for daily updates but I was not able to direct message someone as we are supposed to be able to do. I also got an email notification of a DM but it is not there (perhaps the sender deleted it). The app is great for quick responses.Show lesslettgo works

This community help me prepare for my battle. I saw other peoples struggle and prepared me for what was to come and expect. This is great and depressing at the same time. I saw many people pass which was the depressing part but that this is what this is about and to be preparedBroken 714

You are spot on with everything you shared! I’m not sure if it’s total ignorance on the part of drs’ or just flippant “let’s move on to the next idiot…. $$$”
I’m 3 + yrs and still living with issues!
My advice, which is not easy or “simple”; you fighting for your life, don’t give up and explore as many alternative treatments and possibilities that your dr may not share with you.
Secondly, the system needs to be held accountable & changed, for making it so difficult to get alternative opinions & options;
moving away from your physician without having to jump insurmountable heights!
It will take a lot for us and future PC patients to experience truthful, informed and honest physicians.Show lessmaurice481

I deleted the app for the second time…I had forgotten how useless app support was…I had downloaded it a year ago and reached out to support about log in issues, never received a reply so deleted it…made the same mistake again and experienced the same issue, contacted support…same problem, no reply…deleted the app again…uselessShow lesskamisato05
