  • Customer Service.

    I am recently widowed. Learning to take care of so many things that were in my husband, Frank’s wheelhouse. My neighbor Joe has been such a help, removing the balance bar from the front restroom and letting me know what to get to patch the pergo floor. The arborist that showed me the Charlie Brown tree in our little front yard is a beautiful, majestic, Glistening Maple and his to encouge the roots from this beautiful tree to put her roots back into the ground and keep me shaded for another 30 years.

    Gabriel and Riley were both patient and kind answering my questions, assisting me I properly bring up my ACE App to utilize my $5 savings. Also, Riley talked me through what I need for 2.5 feet of top soil and mulch to help my Maple stand tall and proud. Thank you for being so thoughtful, patient and kind.

  • Great app except search crashing (3.1.3)

    The most recent update (v3.1.3) crashes much more frequently on my iPhoneSE (2020–fully updated to iOS 17.5.1) than any prior version. If I open the app and tap the search bar, I MIGHT be able to type a few letters before the app crashes. If I do manage to get the search to behave, it often crashes if I search my custom phrase and don’t use one of the suggested phrases/search terms that appears. Occasionally the app crashes for me immediately after it starts to load. If I am able to search (usually means opening the app, going to another app and then coming back to the Ace app), attempting to choose/switch stores is also fairly slow, taking several seconds just to load the button to perform the action.

    However, when the app gets over the crashing fits, it is great! Search produces clean results, you can filter by in-stock items at your nearby stores, item preview images are fluid, and all the necessary information is available on the item pages without opening 10 other links to view documents. The only improvement I can think of off-hand would be a “quick add” button on the search results to immediately add an item to your cart so you don’t have to open the item page to do it, especially if you want/need multiple types of a similar item like spray paints or adhesives or a weed eater and some extra string.

  • New to membership old coming to the store.

    As I believe in old days where everything was cash quarters and maybe checks, I finally decided to go cybernetic and sign up. (Buy online) It seems like if I’m walking down the isle. Nothing change the fact that I like cruising through isles but doing it online hmmm it helps big time. Searching in advance what they have in stock and if not order from other stores it is always a big help searching in advance as it’ll save time gas and perhaps money. Hopefully I get a coupon for this…haha … just kidding lol

    today I felt like typing and kind of be entertain in something and I’m glad I chose to write here. Hopefully this can be of big help when making that decision if buying online or searching the store ahead of time is worth it.
