Screenshots do not match app. I have subscribed to the pro version. I see check boxes next to the ingredients. Is that the same as “adding them to the shopping list?” Does that mean there’s not a consolidated shopping list? Also, there is not an option that I can see to check the serving selection like it shows in the screenshots. Help me understand so that maybe I can give a better rating.

Scammed

When I signed up for a free one-week trial, my card was instantaneously charged. Feeling scammed. They lied from the beginning which doesn’t give me much trust with the app. No way to reach them to get a refund or discuss the matter.

Soups for breakfast

Why is it telling me to have Turkey and Vegetable Barley Soup for breakfast??

Not worth the money

I don’t like this app. Cobb salad, chocolate pudding, asparagus and horseradish labeled breakfast….really? Also, it said free trial and there wasn’t one. I canceled like within 30 minutes of downloading the app after seeing the breakfast menu and I got charged for the week. Save your $5.

Moving with MealMap

There are few things more jarring than getting to know a totally unfamiliar city. Now, my new city is still in the US so it’s not like I moved away to a different planet. There are a lot of similarities between most cities I’d say, but the restaurants that I used to go to and the experiences that made up my routines are still where I left them, across the country. So, if you’re in my shoes, where you want to get to know a new city while still eating healthy, MealMap is the way to go. MealMap will tell me which restaurants near me are serving up food that can help me to lose weight. I never expected to move to a new city and start losing weight in a healthy way. I anticipated a few pounds of stressing and worrying but never healthy weight loss. What a nice surprise. If I ever move again, I’ll be happy to take MealMap with me.

Easy to use, nothing to think about

I would love to have a keto shopping list sent to me every week so that I could never have to think about what works and doesn’t work in my diet. I know that it’s high fats, good amount of protein and low to no carbs, but I’m not an expert on food as much as I am an expert on sitting on the couch in front of the tv. I like to take a nap halfway through most movies that I put on.It’s how I relax at the midway point of a stressful work week. We all must do what we must do in order to get by. Using MealMap helps me to keep things easy. MealMap shows me all the restaurants near me that offer keto friendly meals. All the nutritional information is listed as well. It’s a breeze to use and there is really nothing to think about, which I love.

Keeping away from the carbs

Being on the keto diet has made me into an absolute carb manager. I don’t have flashcards of all the different types of foods that I can eat but that might be my next step to be honest. I eat vegetables like a lawnmower and keep my fats high and my proteins where they need to be. It’s been great! But like any diet, sometimes it can get a bit old to always be doing all the cooking for yourself. So that’s where MealMap comes in. When I’m ready to take my chef hat off and let a professional take over, I can see which restaurants near me are offering keto friendly meals. The meals also list all the nutritional information, so there is no need to add anything up or do any research of my own. Research that can become time consuming and even life consuming if you’re like me and get obsessed with the small details. MealMap helps to make maintaining my diet more realistic and I love that.

Elevated paleo food

When I started my paleo diet, I knew that eggs and almonds were okay and not much else. I’m far from an expert on nutrition but I’ve been able to learn a bit more about what works for me by using MealMap. MealMap shows me healthy meals being offered by restaurants near me. Meals that fit the paleo diet. When I’m in charge of cooking something that fits my diet, it ends up being very simple and lean. But when I let a local chef take over, the culinary magic can take place. The meal is still fundamentally simple, but the small touches and added elements of perfection are what elevate the food and make it memorable. I probably would not have learned about these exciting meals if it were not for MealMap. All the nutritional information is right there on display as well, taking out all the estimation and guess work.

Always keeping it simple

I like to keep things simple, if I decide to learn more about nutrition then that doesn’t mean that I want to memorize the complete biological makeup of celery stalks along with their origins in world history. It just means that I want to make some positive changes to the way that I’m eating, drinking or sleeping, whatever. MealMap is one of those positive changes that I am so happy to have discovered. MealMap tells me in words that I can comprehend which restaurants are offering healthy meals near me. Not those pretend healthy salads that you sometimes see where it looks like a bird’s nest drowned in sugar packed salad dressing. That’s not it. Every meal listing on MealMap shows the complete nutritional package. Everything that you could possibly need to know in order to make a good call. MealMap keeps things simple for more complicated diets too. There are options for keto and paleo diet folks. MealMap keeps things simple and that’s a perfect fit for me.

A very helpful app

I’m a keto recipe addict. I’ve tried everything from keto cookies to a dish that basically amounted to avocado pizza on egg bread. It was one of the stranger concoctions that I’ve tried but it was at least worth a shot. I’ve had great success with the keto diet. Some find the diet to be too restricting, but it works perfectly for me. A lot of the recipes that I like call for broccoli. In turn, sometimes I get sick of broccoli. But that’s where MealMap comes in. I can use MealMap to find restaurants near me that offer healthy, keto friendly meals. Keto is still relatively new to the public awareness in my opinion. So, it’s cool that there are restaurants that cater to the diet and an app that will help you find them. I’ve been on the keto diet for a while now and man do I wish that I could have had access to MealMap back when I was first starting out. It would have made everything that much easier.
