  • Drains battery

Used the app for a scavenger hunt and my battery was completely drained after 2 hours. Many of my photos didn’t upload and got no notification that they didn’t.
  • Great

    Amazing app
  • crashing

app used to crash whenever i tried to search an area, but now will not open at all! i really enjoy using this app when it works, it has some good spots near me, but its totally useless if i cant even open the app!
  • Such a useful app!

Vibemap makes finding hidden gems in cities so much easier. Their app and website both have tips, short descriptions, and options for you to chose which vibe you want to experience. The amazing layout and color schemes make it very simple to navigate the app and create a very chill atmosphere. I would highly recommend taking advantage of their “check-in nearby” option to map your visits better by finding interesting places near each other. Overall, you should definitely get the app to help you not waste time on finding cool places!!
  • Awesome for Exploring your Interests!

After using the Vibemap app for the very first time, I was pleasantly surprised that it actually grasped by mood or “vibe,” connecting me with places that I would truly like to visit! With its customizable vibes and categories like “Lifestyle”, “Learning”, “Fitness”, or even “Shopping”, I think Vibemap is truly for everyone; it’s definitely worth a try!
  • Pleasant Surprise

For the past few months my family has been going to the same place for family outings making the event quite stale. However, with the help of Vibemap we have access to plenty of new locations and events to visit. Looking forward to what this app will provide in the future!
  • Great concept, mainstream recs

Love the concept! Got a flier at the Oakland first Friday event, downloaded the app, and was very pleasantly surprised when it asked me to check in with myself for them to generate recommendations… but the recommendations weren’t so great. I put in “adventurous” and “rebel” as my vibes and got some very mainstream, mellow recommendations in response. In general the businesses/spots recommended were all pretty well known/bougie places. Leaving this review bc I would love to redownload once its recs are built up more!

    Developer Response

Thanks so much for this helpful review! We're actively working to make our recommendations better for the vibes you described in Oakland. Can you tell us a little more about what places and events you'd like to see for these vibes?
  • Bad performance; mediocre product

This app crashed within minutes of browsing an article. Memory leaks out the wazoo. The product itself is no different than eventbrite.

    Developer Response

Sorry that you didn't have a good experience. We're working hard to improve the performance and make the app more useful. Was there a particular action that caused a memory leak?
  • Make your own vibe map option

There needs to be a make your own vibe map option. As a Portland viber, I just know people will want to know where you can grab a bite to eat after 10pm.

    Developer Response

Thanks, this is really helpful feedback, and we're actually planning the feature you describe. Let us know if we can talk about how it should work, and if there are other ways we can involve you in the meantime.
