SafeChat is not Safe: wants access to contacts
After downloading the app went in to start the signup process. After entering my email address and then entering the 6 digit verification code emailed to me they wanted access to my contacts to be able to continue. No option to opt out. I closed out of the app and deleted from my phone. Please beware!Show lesstntchgrd

I love the free speech! Can you please make the font a little bigger? Some cannot be magnify. A dictionary ( auto correct) would be awesome! Freedom….so nice to have it again in a social media. We will NEVER give up our God given rights! Keep up the great work!!fivku

They're beginning to censor private conversations now. I got blacklisted from this app because of things in a "private" Chat. If it's so private, then how do they know what's going on in them. Be careful, they are not private and they are watching you.Papillonsdream

I signed up for Safe Chat because I wanted a safe place to interact with people due too all of the data breaches on Twitter and Facebook. Almost as soon as I signed up I get nothing but men (or fake profiles) asking me very personal questions and if I want to hook up? Most of them can not speak ( or write in good English) even though they tell me they live in America. Please for the love of God can someone make a place to go that people can post and chat and not be bombarded with fake profiles!!Show lessJanet Lynn Carey

This is great social media. So far I’ve been enjoying uncensored news from my favorite sources. SafeChat doesn’t shove propaganda down our throats or censor people’s opinions. Very cool app!Navajo Nation!

When I get a notification for a story I can click and see the story but can not open SafeChat to view news or anything else...botzwana12
Censorship
Started out ok. Now they are censoring what you post and deleting. I will be deleting this app as I have done with all that censor free speech. I would like to give this minus 10 stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.Orange new REd
