Leave a Review MeWe Network
Adios FAKEBOOK!!! Privacy-respecting, censorship-free competition has arrived!!!
Took years for Fakebook to get their app this good ... mainly because they’re more interested in ads and in harvesting your personally identifiable data, which MeWe doesn’t do!! Read for yourself: MeWe Privacy Bill of Rights. The only social network that has one. > You own your personal information & content. It is explicitly not ours. > You never receive targeted third-party advertisements or targeted third-party content. We think that's creepy. > You have full control over your newsfeed and the order of how posts appear. > We do not manipulate, filter, or change the order of your newsfeeds. Only you can do that. > Permissions & privacy are your rights. You control them. > You control who can access your content. > You can opt out of our member directory to protect your privacy. > We do not sell your personal information to anyone. > Your face is your business. We do not use facial recognition technology. > You have the right to delete your account and take your content with you at any time.Show lessI’m partial
Not really sure how to rate the app. I’ve been on it for the past four almost five years now and through all the updates that have been done, simple things still can’t be addressed. There’s no way of saving posts, copying links from a video, private messages are mixed in with group chat and are easily missed, they delete your group with no reason why. I understand porn is against TOS but they nuke groups for nudity now. You have to be 17 to be on the platform and most of the groups that allow nudity aren’t in the directory so it’s not like people run into them or can get access easily. But yea, 17 to be on the platform and nudity is an issue. Makes no sense. But they have the color green now! Lol I’m not really sure what’s going on since they have new leadership but it seems like they’re trying to attract more users, naturally but they’re going to lose more by censoring the way they have been and not doing real updates.Show lessI do not recommend this app at all unless you’re rich
OK, first thing about this app to have full access like to post whatever you want with no limits you have to pay me is about making money not about the people and caring about what they like to share and post the way they want to freely. It’s not free hassle if you don’t have the money, your limited on how much you can post, so virtually social media app yeah not happening. They’re looking for investors I get I understand every outlet does that but after posting so much you no longer can post they’re treating it like they rest STORAGE app for your stuff not a social media sharing platform where you’re not restricted like with others social media apps I definitely would not recommend this app unless you can afford to pay for everything which is gonna limit their success so that being said do not download this app so you will not be allowed to post anymore will be asked to pay out money to have that benefit and messaging you can’t even share videos with your friends or family if they have you can share that messages but you can’t share videos so yeah they’re far away from being a good social media. They’re more of a limited storage app and then you gotta pay money out.Show less
