  • Too Basic for 2023

    No integration with Alexa/Google, Home Assistant! No schedule! No available API!
    You guys need a new developer, the App is important as much as the Unit itself nowadays

    It's very easy to have schedules again as all you have to do is call customer support.
  • The update killed remote control

    I specifically chose this brand due to remote control functionality. After a forced update, 75% of the time the app does not see the unit.
    The 25% of time it does, the scheduling functionality is no longer there - but the unit still has it in memory. So now I cannot remotely control the unit or edit the schedule.
    The phone number of the company doesn’t pick up on weekends yet the update was rolled out and they know everyone will have this issue. Now I have unhappy guests.

    There are a few things you can try to fix your issue. Reinstall your app by removing it and downloading it again. While you are on the same network as the device, in the device settings screen, ensure the 'Remote Access Enabled' is on so you can still access your device when you're away from home. If your unit has a red, small WiFi symbol, check the RSSI in the device settings screen. If it says 'Poor' or 'Unreliable' then your router is likely too far away to get a signal, so you would need to move either the device and/or router into a closer proximity. For the schedules, it's a very easy adjustment and all you have to do is call support to handle it.

  • Amazing after sale service

    About 15 months ago I bought an Aquacal pool heater. From day one it had a scheduling function that was easy to use and I loved it as I only swam on weekends and therefore could leave the heat off during M-W and let it warm up Th/F so that S/S would be perfect. About a month ago they revamped the app and all functionality was gone. I connected with them and they told me due to a safety update, if I made some simple modifications with parts they supplied, I would get that functionality back. The techs were AMAZINGLY helpful, and within a week I got not only the normal functionality back, the app now allows me to control other things. I am truly excited about my purchase again.

  • completely destroyed the electric energy saving feature.

    PoolSync recently forced users to update their app removing the temperature set point scheduling feature. Removing the ability to schedule my pool Heatpump hot water supply temperature setpoint base on time of day.

    Bye blowing away this app feature you people single handily completely destroyed the electric energy saving feature. You people removed my energy management savings, (Time scheduled temperature set point programming). You have fail all of us your customer’s and yourself. What are you thinking with energy cost rising.

    Unfortunately zero stars was not an option.

    They will sell you a system and remove the features you paid for afterwords.

  • Scheduling Removed

    Unable to create schedules with the most recent update. There should also be a way to use this like a typical thermostat where you can set a low point for the heat to turn on and a high point for the chiller to turn on. It is only either/or which is not very energy efficient.
  • Scheduling a huge loss

    The reasons for scheduling are not just for heating the pool. I don’t know why you would take it out unless Alexa or Google can do it now (which I have not heard). It is very important to be able to run the system periodically for short periods of time during low usage times. This keeps everything lubricated and running and lets me know if there is something wrong before the big party when I need the heat!!.

  • Update didn’t restore scheduling function

    I’m at a loss how the technician was at the unit today installing the upgrade noted in the response and now I’m still unable to do scheduling or use my remote at all. It’s in a loop looking for a new version and has me without any remote abilities.

    It’s an Airbnb that currently has no guests and my pool is heating without my ability to shut it off.

  • Went from Good to Bad

    We have been using PoolSync for over 2 years and were quite satisfied with it. We particularly liked being able to have the pool temp changed during the day on a regular basis. But then the “scheduler” function was removed and reduced the Apps benefit to us. Please restore it soon.
  • Where’s the scheduler!?

    I loved the scheduler! Please bring it back.

    I’ve seen other reviews that the code was redone. Why overhaul the app to remove the best feature? At least release an older version so we can go back without having to update the firmware on the heat pump.
