Nice design but needs some features
I really want to love this app, but there are better options. The app is well designed and has the cleanest interface and one of the best looks of any dating app I have used. I certainly can’t complain about the like of likes, but the filters and information provided regarding location are limited. More distance filters would be nice so your top limit isn’t 60 miles then max distance. Additionally, having the option to only show people who meet your fitness would be a huge improvement. If I set distance to the upper limit of 60 miles, when I run out of profiles I don’t want to see people 300 miles away. This also creates a large number of received likes you will never match with unless you have no problem with LONG distance. Knowing where someone is located would be a huge bonus as well. Simply know how many miles away isn’t the same as knowing their location. Location = travel time not miles. Plus if you are willing to relocate you may not be willing to relocate anywhere. Why match with someone who lives in an area you aren’t willing to travel to or relocate to? Lastly, subscription prices?!?! I fully understand the need to be profitable but a months subscription to most dating apps is the same as 3 months of a streaming app. I think a lot more of would subscribe at $10/ month or less

Very nice app, but one problem
Honestly Upward is probably the best dating app I have ever used, and I know that is saying a lot. Maybe it is just because there are actually quality women on there who are Christ centered. But I also think it genuinely tries to be a less superficial app, which is nice. And I promise I am not being biased because I did meet a very lovely woman off of this app. I have met girls on other apps, though as you can see those relationships did not pan out. My only problem with this app is that it has a “casual” option (as for what type of relationship you are looking for). As a Christian, I have no idea why a Christian app is promoting hook up culture or why it even has that option. I am okay with relationship and marriage, but why casual? I think Upward would be better off setting itself apart from the worldly culture and truly promoting Christian values. But that is just my take away. Anyways, if you are guy who is looking for your wife; Aside from that one flaw, I think this is probably the only app you should try. I have a love/hate relationship with dating apps because they are convenient but I also have had mostly terrible experiences on them. However, my experience on Upward was mostly positive. So try your luck with it if you haven’t had success in real life.

Worst app
The customer service is so bad for this app. My account was deleted and my subscription was active, I have been trying for months to reach out to them but I get absolutely no reponse. You need to pay for everything and even when you do the account is gone along with your money.😡
