Let me start off by saying that there are some things that I did like about the app and there are some things that I didn’t. I didn’t like the fact that the app severely limits what types of matches you can look at unless you pay for a subscription. Fortunately, I rarely ever saw anyone who smoked cigarettes, which was my only real breaker. It took less than a month for the app to run out of people within living distance. After that, it kept showing me people living over 100 miles away. After that, I finally decided to pay for a subscription for a week to see the one person who liked me because I didn’t see her yet. It was revealed to be someone who lived 300 miles away. In the end, I only got scammed into spending 20 dollars so it wasn’t a total loss. I like that the app has a facial recognition feature to prove that you’re profile is real. Unfortunately, it’s not perfect. It took several attempts before it finally accepted my picture. Also, it isn’t mandatory. This means anyone can create a fake profile. This is the third and possibly final Christian dating app I have tried to use and it’s actually the worst one. Ark, and HOLY were better. I was actually able to chat with some people on those apps, but I never had a single chat on Upward and I even got scammed to spending $20 just to see someone who lives 300 miles away.
