Dear Upward, My name is Trevor and I’m still struggling with finding the right person for me because I get nervous when I talk to them and I also get anxious and frustrated when I get ghosted or not responding back to them or something like that and I believed in Upward because it’s cool and there lots of people who love Jesus Christ for life and I’m that type of person who loves Jesus Christ and I love this app but for right now I’m really upset and stressed about this app it’s broken because my phone number keeps getting stuck on the screen page and it’s saying verification system broken or something like that and I got disabled on the sign in screen page and I’m really sad about this problem and I’m heart been broken for long time and I am just hoping that Upward understands me that I still struggling to find someone special and I hope one day that upward forgive me for my mistakes I have made on the app and I’m really sorry about everything I have done wrong on the app and I’m just hoping that I get another chance to be on the app once again hopefully someday I’ll return to the app in the future but for now I have been blocked by the company and I’m sorry for everything that I can have prevented from getting into trouble with the match group team and next time I will make sure to follow the rules and terms of the service and guidelines and standards of the app.I hope to hear from the Upward Support Group soon about me rejoining the app some dayShow lessTrevor38888

Hey I wanted to come on here and write a review now that I’m getting married to the man I met here on Upward in May 2025. I had gone on and off of dating apps before I met my now fiancé. I will say that my heart was not always right and that in some ways I was trying to “control” Gods timing with this specific blessing. But eventually after some failures in dating I realized until God made it happen it wasn’t gonna be a success. Now this realization didn’t make my fiancé appear but it made the time before meeting him through the app more bearable. I was about to delete the app again when I matched with my fiancé. After our first conversation I knew we clicked, but I still took my time since I had rushed into things to quickly before. Eventually we went on our first date, which lasted 8 hours. As I got to know him more and more in how our values and paths aligned I knew he was the one for me! I am so blessed and I can’t wait to see how God will use our marriage❤️😊
My advice if your going on a dating app: take your time and don’t rush. Understand that not finding someone instantly has nothing to do with your worth and all to do with God’s timing.
The app itself is pretty simple and easy to use, though I will say that the people you swipe on do reappear if your on the app swiping too long.Show lesskariing200
Don’t use this app! They took my payment and refused to give me the service I paid for!!
As the 3 months for the premium service i actually paid for but never received comes to an end, Apple suggested that I leave a review… gladly: first, there is one star because I had to pick something to move forward or I would never have given a star at all!! Even though I paid for 3 months of their service, I was never able to use it. When i finally deleted the app, I had gotten 67 likes and I could not see or communicate with any of them, thanks to not actually getting the paid service that they received my payment for. Many times during the 3 months, i reached out to this supposed Christian company, only to be completely ignored. The only time i even heard from them was to refuse to refund my money for the paid service that i actually never received. I would NEVER recommend this dating service to anyone!!! A small piece of advice from an actual Christian: if you plan to use your Christian faith to help sell your business, don’t steal money from your customers and don’t ignore their problems with your service for the entire 3 months that the person is a customer of yours. Please don’t waist your money with this app!! The App Store is full of dating apps, that may not be perfect, but they don’t claim Christian faith and steal your payment for their paid services and give you both in return.Show lessbbarinva
