  • Don’t download

    This app doesn’t work.
  • Remove from App Store!

This seriously needs to be removed from the App Store. It doesn’t work, distracts from your workout. It’s buggy as hell, and if you are lucky will connect for 2 seconds to only disconnect you.

    Avoid!!!!!!
  • Works with Peloton Bike+ and App

I was looking for a free/cheap heart rate monitor that would work with my Apple Watch and my Peloton Bike+ Bootcamp and Apple TV App. Since Apple won’t allow syncing with their native app for these instances for “security” reasons a third party app is required. This connects easily and works well so far with the class I tried it on. The price is right too! 👍🏽🚵🏽‍♂️

  • Worked first time, then never again

Seems to be a common problem with this app and Peloton. Connects perfectly the first time and works great but then never works again.
  • Great app, but some stability problems

I love this app, because it solves my problem to connect my Apple Watch to some sport devices, which do not support Apple Watch heart rate feature. It is a simple app, but easy to use and just well done. The only problem is the stability, so sometimes I have to reboot my Apple Watch and iPhone to get the connectivity.

  • Doesn’t connect well

This app has promise and I love the idea. But it doesn’t connect to the Peloton very well. Sometimes it takes 17 minutes to connect (it connects/disconnects many times before it finally “hits”). The new strive score is an important part of the workout but then again you need heart rate. I have been extremely frustrated. Only the very first ride I did did it connect right away. I’ll take any advice to get this app to work better.

  • Would be great if it was consistent

This worked seamlessly maybe twice and it was awesome. One time I had to reset everything connect again. I’m connecting as a heart rate monitor, not direct Bluetooth. Then it somehow screwed up my Bluetooth headphones and I couldn’t reconnect those until I turned Bluetooth off and back on my peloton. Sometimes I open the phone app and the whole screen is pulsing. It’s bizarre. I just can’t justify keeping this at the moment because the inconsistency messes up my workout flow and stresses me out.

  • Don’t waste your time

Works once, never worked again. Waste of time for the peloton
  • Still early but a very good start

Does not start reliably with an iPhone 12 and Apple Watch 4. But works reasonably well when it does start working.

No way to stop the app once it is running on the watch. This leads to a very fast battery drain. Unless you manually force the app to quit. Not a deal breaker but is not ideal.

Looking forward to seeing this evolve. Won’t hesitate to send them money for a robustly developed app very soon.

  • Difficulty connecting

I have to turn my watch off or reinstall the app every time I use it. It is great when it works but this issue is causing me a lot of frustration.

Update: the app is very unstable and has become unusable. I have to reboot my watch and phone every time I use it. I don’t know if this is an iPhone/watch issue or an issue with the app. And it won’t reliably connect to my peloton anymore. Sometimes it drops in and out; sometimes it takes a while to connect and sometimes it won’t connect at all. Again, it is great when it works because it saves me having to wear a heart chest monitor or otherwise seeking a work around for peloton. But, it has not been reliable and when it takes me 5 minutes or so to start the app and get it working it throws off my workout routine.

Please get this app stable! It is so good when it works.
