Terrible app’
I’ve now had the Andersen unit for approximately 8 months. The unit itself is a great looking, study box and conceals the unsightly cable and plug when stowed.
The app’ unfortunately, for such an expensive, premium product, is woeful. On several occasions I’ve woken to discover the car has not charged. Some days it works just fine, some days it doesn’t work at all, even when settings and schedules remain unchanged. I have no confidence in the reliability of the app’.
How is it that the physical product is so good but the software behind it so bad? The company have been aware of these issues for years and have done nothing to address it.
Think twice before spending £1.5k on this fancy wall ornament. Other products are half the price and have a better app’.Show lesslatest update (updated review as support fixed)
has broken the scheduler (not good when on octopus agile), reporting and now whilst the car does charge the app no longer recognises the car as being plugged in. The system is now useless other than as a plug in and charge manually box and is the most expensive on the market. When will you fix this?
update: I contacted support and Rachel asked for some info about my charger (screenshot from app was enough) she was able to make changes on their side and full functionality has returned …. so support sorted it out quite quickly … this I recommend anyone with issues contacts them … however this shouldn’t really happen on the first place hence 3 stars at this pointShow lessCurrently Poor - Software holding back an otherwise decent system
Recent app updates have not improved Konnect+. My charger appears to be working, but I Konnect+ doesn’t seem to be seeing it. Despite having plugged in and charged a couple of cars over the past 10 days, Konnect+ has not ‘seen’ the charger since the 16th May 2023.
Plugging in a vehicle doesn’t garner any response from the app, the Home Screen just unhelpfully says “Please plug in a vehicle”. Clearly I’ve done that. I’ve tried cutting the power to my charger via the breaker and reinstating it a few mins later to no avail.
There is also the fact that they keep changing the app functionality without providing an in-app change log. An app this essential requires release notes that are presented to the user on first launching with a new version. Otherwise, confronted with new features/nomenclature the user is left confused as to whether things have broken. The “Please plug in a vehicle” terminology is completely new - it didn’t used to say that.
I appreciate that Andersen has changed hands, but if they want to be treated as a luxury player they need to up their game significantly.Show less
