Really fun!
My sister recommended this to me when I finally felt comfortable of sharing a story that I have been working on in my head for years. I very recently found out she was making a stories- well at least characters. There’s a lot of stuff to fill out, it’s a bit overwhelming at first but its worth it in the long-run, but I think it’ll be nice to have little descriptions for some of the fill-outs.
I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a app or any way to organize their story!

No export feature for notes
I would use the app more if an export feature for notes was included. I certainly wouldn’t pay for premium if I can’t export my notes. Otherwise a great app.🙁
Response from developer
Hi! It’s possible to export your writing to .docx! Please contact me so I can show you how: contact@fortelling.app
Amazing app!
Well done! This app is great for visual learners like me. Having everything laid out before me makes writing my book so much easier. This app allows you to make in depth descriptions about your characters and settings. Not only that but they have a timeline section so it’s easy to plan out how your book will flow. If you find it hard to constantly be writing, they have a goals section, too! Anyway, I don’t wanna sound like I’m sponsernd by them or anything (lol) but this app is definitely worth it! 😁

Best Writing App on the Market
One of my best decisions was getting this app. It helps organise different layers of story elements to really give you that well-developed aspect to anything you write. The app itself is seamless and every detail is smooth and crisp. I absolutely love being able to have a detailed digital story board and a connection to all events, people, places, etc. I highly recommend to anyone, writer or otherwise.

Love it!!
I really love this app, it's seriously helping me to organize my novel, but I can only upload one photo at a time.

Some suggestions
I’m giving this app 4 stars for a reason so bare with me, but firstly; this is most definitely the best one I’ve found so far and it’s extremely user friendly and fleshed out.
For the free version though; I really wish there was more to do with timelines. More importantly; dates and times and character connections/connecting events with plot points would be great. I also wish there was an option just to add extra info instead of applying notes to the character. Also, for locations, I wish the image would change just vaguely. Like you can choose climate or type of city. It’s not a huge issue, I just think it’d be a cool addition since I have a story that involves many different climates, cities and country types. Additionally, I wish I could just add specialize margins straight to the sections so that “trauma” can be with “childhood” and “backstory” under history, etc. Lastly, I wish we could see how many scenes go into each plot or how many scenes each character gets.
For the paid version, this is probably a bit more than I’m allowed to suggest but I wanted to say that it’s not very appetizing to pay for more space for the projects. So instead of limiting the amount of project space to frustrate writers into paying to finish their character outlines and plot lines, here’s some suggestions of what you could make us pay for instead:
Data archives: this is info to make story research easier and more accessible to us. Think info for medical procedures or health issues, human anatomy, types of weapons and their makeup, flowers and their meanings/makeup, types of car. Really the possibilities are endless but it’d be infinitely helpful for writers. Since it’s a monthly subscription, just updating with more articles every month would be great. Also just lists of names, physical traits, personality traits, place, animals, etc.
Idea dice: whether it be for building a character or in need of a new story idea I think having plenty of ideas to help story blocked writers in this way would be an awesome addition. Apart of this could be a prompt list.
Bonus fonts: because who doesn’t want fancy fonts when writing. It can come in handy for so many stories including any that involve letters. Think; cursive and gothic.
Publishing companies: this could go under data archives lists but I was thinking listing out reliable/successful publishing companies and their contact info/website would be cool to help us publish our works.
All things you don’t necessarily “need” but all things writers will sign their soul over for (after all the effort to figure out names for characters is treacherous) aka these are all things I’d pay for (especially the data archives). Also all things that I’d assume aren’t super difficult to code and therefore wouldn’t waste too much effort to add. I’d honestly rather just pay $3 for the app instead a prescription, though.

Very Useful for DnD Campaigns
I was in a bit of a jam trying to come up with a campaign for the DnD Event I was Dungeon Mastering. This app’s features really helped me with its character and world-building features. Really Nice App!!!
Unable to Log In
I signed up for an account but when I try to log in, it just refreshes the app and takes me back to the title screen.
Pretty Good
Wish there was more features with plotting but over all pretty neat.
