Worst app I’ve ever used
When we walked into the laundry, my son said “oh no it’s Circuit, they provide the university machines and you can never get them to work”.
Nevertheless, I downloaded the app and understood why he has brought all his laundry home for the last 2 years as he was quite correct.
In the end I had to buy a laundry card (an extra £2 on my wash) and have the money transferred to that over a very long phone call where the assistant had to try several times to effect the transfer. 3 hours and £12 wasted for 1 load of washing. Now we know where the student loans go, into Circuit’s pockets.
Nightmare
To only then be CHARGED for a refund?! Administration charge? Really?
Really just an awful lot.
The worst laundry service
You are entirely unable to transfer funds over from the previous circuit app after they updated, so that’s just lost money I guess. Thanks for that.
Price gouging students on laundry services. This is the most I have ever seen laundry machines cost. Brilliant.
On top of the overly expensive pricing, I rarely have a dry that actually dries my clothes. Often clothes come out damp or in some cases outright wet. This always happens regardless of maintenance reports. Love.
There have been several occurrences of machines taking money off of my account for a wash but the machines don’t start or respond. Sometimes they will have error messages or they will just not respond at all.
The app is extremely frustrating as it has several bugs that interfere with payments, adding money to accounts, etc that make doing laundry into a nightmare.
Many times most machines are not working in the laundry building so all the residents are forced to wait for one machine to become free.
I have been in buildings that use circuit for about a year and it has always been an extremely expensive and flawed service that does not seem to change or improve in the face of extreme issues. Uni’s and dorm buildings should absolutely take their businesses elsewhere.

Satan doesn’t want your money anyway.
To put it succinctly: Putting money into this thing is like inserting a pound coin up Satan’s a*!$. Just get the laundry physical card and don’t bother with the app.

It’s working, but it’s bugging, it’s barely satisfactory
It is harder to screw it up than make it work properly. But they’ve managed it. The interface is bugged, the time are different to the machine. And when you use multiple machines it visually bugs further.
Please, as my constructive criticism goes. One, make the app better by fixing all the bugs presented. Two, don’t make another one, cheating many customers out of money and time to refund their input of cash into the previous app. And three, make the app better with options to chat with the people that have access to the machine as well so it’s a way to not mix anything up or lose anything. And maybe the app won’t have such a bad review page. Thank you.
