What’s the point?
Good start but.
Very helpful…when it works
Absolutely Amazing App
I feel this is the perfect timing to talk about training today as of last week I came down with Covid and I didn’t expect the see what the app displayed.
My body went into complete shock with the virus and training today showed my score as 0.0 and recommends to take a break! Even tho I am recovering and 80% recovered the app still recommend I go for a very gentle walk!! It’s incredible how it knows how my body feels and it’s a absolutely spot on. Even prior to falling sick upon waking up I have a score of racing and again the assessment by the app is on the ball. All in all an app that I can rely on not to exhaust myself in training and take the right beaks for full recovery. Well done team
1.6 update is terrible
Response from developer
Many thanks for your feedback. We are a very small self funded team and v1.6 has enabled us to fund continued development of this app. The free version is still fully functional, and the small in-app purchase unlocks additional functionality if you want but, of course, you are not forced in anyway to purchase it and you can continue using the app for free for as long as you want.
Good for free
No data
Not changing
Not accurate when not working out
But once I stopped working out completely due to Covid lockdown, the app would give me a rating between 0-2 each day even though I have barely moved! It looks like it is relying too heavily on some heart rate data and no consideration of workouts.
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback. We currently do not use workout data only your underlying HRV (this is different from heart rate) to determine your score. If you would like us to investigate what is happening to make it less accurate for you the please drop us a line at support@trainingtodayapp.com - we would be more than happy to help
HRV is where it’s at!
If you are in to knowing when you should train then you should read about how this app works. Once you understand the tech behind it you’ll be convinced this is the way to train. Cheers!
