Slow and needs to be reset

The app is slow to load and often needs to be reset to have info update. There are a lot of bugs and could do with some updating and fine tuning. It definitely serves its purpose but frustrating with the slow loading.

Real shame that investment has not gone into this app. Awesome programme but let down by the app that is clunky and keeps dropping.

Get back on track

I have loved the food program. 12WBT make it so easy it is nice not to have to think about what to eat and to swap the meals out if you don’t like them though ATM I am trying all the meals as tastes sometimes change. I also love the shopping list although it would be great if you could give the option of ticking the days that you are shopping for as would love to shop on Sunday to Wednesday and then again on Thursday for the feast of the week.
I have an exercise program that I have always done with a PT for resistance and a cycling group for cardio.
I also have an App I use for my mental health.
As a sugar addict I have also cut out Coke no sugar as for me I believe it makes me crave sugar and messes with you metabolism. I do a have something sweet after my dinner and that satisfies me.

Not overly compatible with Apple technology

I’ve used this website a few times and never been able to use the app. This time around I have an Apple 13pro max which should support this app quite well but alas there is a major difference between the website and the app. The app is extremely clunky. Workouts don’t run smoothly and look very different to the website. Very frustrating. Spend some money on the app! Given the cost it should work smoothly and be intuitive. PLEASE!

Workout feature needs big improvements

It’s an ok app but it won’t sync with my Apple Watch so I have to carry my phone on workouts. And I can’t put my phone on my arm or it locks and stops the instructions and timers. The only option is to hold my phone in my hand while I walk & run. Very inconvenient when you consider the norm these days! I hope the app will be improved soon to be more in line with current expectations of a fitness app.

Feedback on 12WBT app

Hi Overall I’m impressed with the support tools the app provides. I do however find I’m constantly switching between the 12WBT website and the app for: 1. Shopping List 2. Calorie index 3. More flexible edit options for workout details and snack entry eg. My coffee selection doesn’t save in recent snacks. I need to enter through the website. I know I should just quit the coffee! 😀 eg. When I enter a custom workout such as walking, the app restricts distance to one decimal, say 1km rather than 1.7km. I would enter the specifics into the website rather than the app If I am not using the app properly please let me know. Thankyou and I love everything about this program! Lana

This app leaves a lot to be desired

On the pre workout, it did not save half my fitness results, so it gave me a score of 0. My measurements were also only partially saved, and my before picture disappeared after a couple days. When I try to record an additional workout, the time function doesn’t work. It’s as if the numbers are too large to show the 2nd digit. Also, if I enter a 2nd workout (walk or run) it will not add the calories burned to my total. Overall EXTREMELY frustrating.

Great App

Using the app for the first time and only in the first week of it, I’m finding it great when it comes to the exercise videos and food selection…
Finding it a bit clunky getting my shopping list into the Woolies app. And using other exercise apps and getting them to talk to each other.
This may not be an actual 12WBT app issue, it could very well be a me not being tech savvy issue! ☺️

Could be better

Disappointed in the app, the old version was much better.
Issues with this one include:
- sometimes the voice over misses words so you don’t know what’s next
- there is no audible cue that an exercise is finished
- the back arrow blends in and is hard to see
- it used to incorporate your own music, so you could select a playlist and it would play during the workout and go quiet during voice overs, but it doesn’t do this anymore
- used to be able to download the workout but now I can’t, which makes it difficult when I want to workout in the shed where we have zero mobile service or wifi
- overall it’s not very intuitive, whereas I used to find the old version good to use

Disappointed in the app, the program is ok but it hasn’t changed in years (it’s no different to when I first did it more than 5 years ago).
