  • Very much improved site

    The 12WBT since I last did the program has really improved the site and program to better suit the different needs of Australians. It is great that I can go in and customise my meal plan making it so much easier to log my food etc not to me too mention how much easier it is to plan my grocery shop for the week.

  • Not worth it

    I subscribed for 12 months after having completed a couple of challenges previously. App is so clunky now I don’t use it. Doesn’t sink with Fitbit, food is very limited to what I can find locally and what I would eat... asked to be let out of contract after 7 days was told no that I was locked in so spending $520 a year on an app that does work when I can get one that does and better more practical food choices for $360 a year. Just checked fitbit sync still not working keeps telling me there is an error

We do have over 1200 recipes in our Recipe Index which can be narrowed down by using the filtering options.   • Really glitchy, needs work

    I don’t usually write reviews but found the app really disappointing. I hope they put the time and money into fixing it to make it work better

    Issues I had were when I updated the meal plan and needing to close and reopen, log out and back in multiple times to get the app to show the new meal plan correctly, sometimes the shopping list refuses to finish loading, the snacks are part of the daily calories but you can’t add them to the mealplan and therefore the shopping list, not able to add additional stuff to the shopping list so end up needing 2 lists, when on the shopping list it suggests to tick stuff off as you go but sometimes some things untick themselves.

    Its a shame because the food is good. Possibly the fitness side if glitchy too but I do my own workouts so signed up mostly for the meal planning

    Hi RDron88 Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you have experienced these issues. You may have noticed in one of our recent releases the option to ‘pull to refresh’ this allows you to see any changes a little quicker by pulling down on the screen, you will see the spinning wheel at the top of your screen to show it is being refreshed. At this stage it’s not possible to add snacks into your Meal Plan, there are such a huge variety of snacks that we decided to keep this part of the meal plan very flexible.   • Not intuitive and doesn’t work on iPad

    This is not an intuitive app on mobile and I can’t even get the iPad app working at all, it just stays on the Home Screen. My screen also locks while using this app during workout plan which stops the timer which isn’t ideal and the longest I can keep it unlocked for is 5min in the IPhone settings. Makes me want to print everything out, which I hate coz it’s not sustainable and set my own timers which is annoying...and the thing is if you want to work out with your phone you have to download it so it’s a lose/lose situation here. Upside is you do have access to the recipes etc on your phone. It should also be connected to the Woolworths app or online so you can just hit go on your shopping list that would be a delightful addition and make it shopping for the food even easier.

We released a fix for the workout issue so your phone should no longer go to sleep during your workout and the Woolworths integration will be looked into soon.     While the new app make look a lot sleeker I find myself missing the old clunky but serviceable one on a daily basis. In spite of numerous updates, it still doesn’t do what the old app did effortlessly. I have to ask myself whether it was even tested before it was launched because everything that could go wrong, has! While a lot of the glitches have been ironed out in the frequent updates, after the latest update it STILL doesn’t play my exercise program on my iPhone 8 without switching itself off. What is the point of a fitness app that won’t help you get fit? 🤦🏼‍♀️
    On a different note, I have been doing this program for 8 rounds now as the approach works for me, and I don’t think the exercises have changed at all over the years I have been a member. Surely we deserve some new workouts after all this time? And what about programs for older people? I can’t keep doing “Fit for Fifty” forever as I’m nearing sixty!

  • Terrible

    This app is horribly designed. It is extremely slow, there’s no way for it to remember your sign-in details (you have to manually enter your email and password every time - devs, we’ve moved on to facial recognition now!), once you start playing one of the videos, there’s no ‘back’ option, meaning when the video is done, you have to shut down the app and re-open it. Just unacceptable.
