Awesome Habits User Reviews

Almost Perfect

I like this app.

I like it a lot.

The interface is clean and very intuitive. The reporting is simple to read and it works across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

I have deleted many habit trackers and this one is staying and will be used.

It’s not there yet.

There are 3 things that I would like to see to make this app truly Awesome.

1. An Apple Watch version

2. Notes for each habit, though personally I see this as useful rather than essential.

3. Sort out the timer bug.

When using the timer, you have to leave the app open (in the background), with the habit open. If you don’t do this, the timer will pause.

As I say, the app is beautiful to use and very slick with some of the best widgets out there.

Consequently, it has become one of the most used apps on my phone.

If the developers produce a Watch version and sort out the timer then I’d give this app the full 5 stars.

Response from developer

Thank you very much for your review, we are happy that you like our app! We have good news for you. We've just released a new version coming with Apple Watch support! We hope you will like it. Regarding notes support, this feature is in the app already, just tap to a habit > 3 dots > Add note. You can add a new note every day (or week/month in case of weekly/monthly habits). But in case you mean a possibility to add a static description of a habit, that's not available yet, but we are considering it for future improvements. Regarding the timer bug, we just wanted to clarify that it's currently intended behavior. You can close the app when the timer is running, but when you close the habit card, the timer automatically stopped. However, we hear your feedback and agree that it might not be optimal from a UX perspective. We'll look into it. We would greatly appreciate your feedback on our Apple Watch app. Please ping us anytime at feedback@awesome-habits.com

Currently using free trial.

Very much enjoy the user interface, I will be buying the one time premium subscription as I’m interested to see what else you can add. Maybe individual daily goals in the overview as well as the total? Also a total percentage for habits broken as well as habits built on the Home Screen on the app, which eventually could be incorporated to the widgets which for me would be more useful.

Even as it stands it’s the best looking and most intuitive habit tracker I’ve found. Thank you.

love habits!

this is a really clean, well-designed app! i looked at a bunch of apps in this category, but i was sold on this one by both its design and simple pricing model. there's an iOS and Mac version, and both have widgets too, which makes it easy to notice your target goals and log them when completed, all of which syncs across devices without having to create or log in to a separate account. i downloaded this at the start of the new year and it's amazing how many rings i've been able to close every day! a great support for desired behavior changes. i highly recommend it!

Great app, two missing features

I love this app. It’s the prettiest of all habit trackers I’ve tried, and I like how habits are arranged in daily and weekly goals (instead of calendar days, as in other apps, which is annoying). I love that it has a Mac app which also works great. I cannot give full points for these two reasons:

- checking off a task involves two clicks: one of the task and another one within the task options. Swipe actions (or one click actions) would be appreciated.

- No watch app!! This is major. I love tracking everything on my watch.

I am still using the app because it works well and it is visually appealing, but I am on the market for another. However, if my two points above were fixed I would stop looking for alternatives.

UPDATE: We've recently introduced Apple Watch support (it's available for watchOS 7.2 and newer). We hope you will like it, we'd be happy to hear your feedback at feedback@awesome-habits.com. Gestures support is on our roadmap too. Thank you for your feedback and support!

Great for starting new habits

This app is really good for starting new habits. There are habits that are already made for you and you can create your own habits. The only thing I dont really like, is that you can only have 3 habits planned and you can't properly view your stats and stuff. Would definetely use for creating new habits, and it's very easy and helpful.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are happy that you are enjoying our app! I assume you've noticed that, but just for sure, we'd like to mention, that the limitations you've described are valid only for the free version. You can unlock the full functionality of the app by upgrading or starting a 7 days trial. In case you don't see these options, please let us know at feedback@awesome-habits.com. Our paid plans are the only way of how we can fund further development and growth of our app. Especially as we don't want to track our users and compromise their experience with ads.

Some Features

Some features I'm looking to see, otherwise love the simple design and the integrated timer for the habits:
- One-time purchase option
- Option to see app widget in top menu bar of laptop
- Categories/Time of Day sections to organize habits or custom tags

The habit track that you actually want

I’ve tried a lot of habit tracking apps for my iPad. But most of the time they were either too complex, expensive or had a horrible interface. I’m happy to say I’ve finally found an app that doesn’t have any of those shortcomings, and I wholeheartedly recommend Habits to anyone.

I really like this app

There are categories such as habits I want to build and habits I want to break. I can also set how many times/ how long I will do. For example, if I want to reduce the amount of daily caffeine dose, I can put '3' cups of of coffee. Then '3 cups' become maximum amount a day. This is exactly what I needed! I haven't seen this kind of habit tracker apps. What's more, there are lots of cute icons:) and super easy to use! At the beginning, I had a problem syncing, and the depveloper explained about this in detail. Thank you so much!

Everything I am looking for in a habit tracker

I have tried so many different habit trackers but finally feel like found what I am looking for.

A clean and simple UI that solely focuses building habits without trying to do other things on the side! Love the widgets find it handy get an overview of what is left for the day.

The range of different icons is great but it would be nice to have search functionality as it can be time consuming to find what I am looking for. Swipe gestures to mark off an item would also be nice instead of clicking into the habit first.

All it all great app and look forward to seeing it improve!! 👍

Life Changing

This app has been so helpful and it really has helped me form good habits to better my life. I can't even lie, at first, it was definitely challenging and there would be times when I ignored the notifications but eventually, I got there. This app really is useful especially when you are actively trying to fix your habits. Thank you to the app developers!
