Needs improvement.

I see great potential, but it feels like the app is constantly ignoring me. I will vent, state that I’m venting, and it seems to just look the other way. I get if it’s not built to basically be a pocket therapist, but even a STRANGER on OMEGLE could do better. And has.

wow. just wow.

i saw an ad for this app while watching youtube after a pretty hard day. i thought, “why not give it a try?” i kid you not, i’ve had this app for less than a day, and i can already tell its going to help me out a lot. i’ve been searching everywhere for a self-help app to help me control and improve my mental health, but i supposed that i couldn’t get help without paying $39.99 a year. then i found gritx. there are SO many different articles about how to improve your outlook, or mental health. how to interact better with others, and so many journals where you can write down how you feel about a number of different topics and be able to look back at what you wrote in the future. one of my most favorite activities from the self-care toolkit is the “draw a butterfly” one. it’s designed to stop or discourage self harm, and it’s one of the most adorable but also beautiful ways i’ve seen to approach this issue. as someone who’s struggled with it in the past, looking down at my wrists to see a cute little butterfly (of which you are also recommended to name!! how cute) is so much better than seeing old scars or new cuts. thank you to the team at ucsf for creating such a lovely app. from the content, to even the aesthetic, it’s the perfect app for anyone and everyone who’s struggling at this time. 🦋🤍 wish i could give it 10 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

any time i would send the bot a message, it would send me back one completely off topic. for example, i said “i don’t really feel all that good” thinking i would be able to rant. and it said “glad to hear that your feeling happy.” like what?? and also on top of that, the reply’s would take like 2 mins just to respond with a “ok” or “i’m sorry”. i’m sure the person who made the app has good intentions, but the programming needs to be updated BADLY
