Easy of use
This electronic journal is such a great product. I am giving five stars not because it is perfect or does everything perfectly but because the developer listens and tries to implement needed features if they make sense. I have been using this journal for nine months and have enjoyed the easy and efficient data entry. I have found that the software helps me be a better notary by helping me remember to cross all my Ts. There are challenges with older signers and when doing weird journal entries like signature by mark. Overall this is a great product.acmenotary

Better than NotaryAct
I’m a loan signing agent and I’ve used both apps, NotaryAct and eJournal. eJournal is the only one that allows you to specify which signers are signing each document (without typing a ton). It’s just checkboxes beside each doc. Besides that, the app allows me to get through closings way faster and they just improved their offline capabilities which was the only gripe I had before. Efficient, Ergonomic, and Easy to Use
The title says it all and the functions of this app explain why! Notary EJournal is not just some space-saver for your briefcase , no no no the more important facet is the time savings. Any Notary will tell you, be it full time or pastime, the filling out of your journal is hands down the most tedious aspect of whole process!!! It’s no fun, especially after you just got done signing an entire Mortgage packet to then fill in five to fifteen entries and properly collect and record signatures and thumbprints. Here’s why I standby this app...

The app walks you through step by step and seamlessly detects location, scans IDs, add the proper amount of signers as well as entries, topping it off with a quick thumb scan and e-signature.
2) Security:
Your signers information and data lies safely secure behind Encrypted, password/biometric access. Your journal is always safe with you, not easily lost or stolen as is the case in physical form. Lose the “worry” of where the journal is, never lose the physical journal ever!!!
3) Space Convenience:
You no longer have to carry a book and thumb pad!!! I don’t know about you but my briefcase is full enough, I will forgo what I can and now a constant weight is lifted. Also, I don’t have to panic when running low on pages! If only I could feel this way about printer ink.
4) Professional Look:
Let’s be honest, we all want to be at the top of our game. A large part of being the best is having the best tools to accomplish the job. When you walk in to an already mundane situation and bust out the thumb scanner and eJournal App you’re showing next level thinking! You’re buying the “look/feel” of a top earner.
SUMMARIZING:
Notary eJournal is very intuitive in its step by step process of recording. It’s quick to scan both the ID & Thumb print (download process is a tad slow but the actual scan is mere seconds), and the speed at which the entire process moves makes this app worth every penny.
