Best money we spent!
After spending time on Kauai, the Big island and Maui for the last three weeks and purchasing his apps for all three, he feels like family! A must download for your trip to Kauai
Driving Kauai was made much more entertaining and informative through the use of this app. We stopped at many an overlook, shave ice spot, and beaches solely because of the app and not a single one was a disappointment. Kinda wish they had an app for every major city we visited!Trysoaring
Fantastic app
We just got back from a week on Kauai and this app was brilliant. We were on the island for a medical conference and so had limited time to explore, so taking drives and making stops along the way with Andrew’s narration was perfect. We agreed that we would have paid three times as much for the app, it was that valuable.
Just one suggestion…the author stays very current on local conditions, but we did run into one area where maybe the narration should be altered. We stayed away from Queen’s Bath because his warnings convinced us October was NOT the time to visit. However, when we visited Wailua Falls he goes into detail about how to get down to the falls (with the caveat that the government doesn’t want you down there—so he does suggest not to do it.) Despite the warning signs posted, we made the hike. It was treacherous and amazing and we were glad we did it, but when we safely returned to the overlook we discovered that recently the government started fining you for going down there. Fortunately it didn’t happen to us, but it happened to others. We also found out a hiker died at the base of Wailua Falls just one week prior to us going down the trail, probably one of many reasons the government made the trail illegal. You may want to update that little section with some firm warnings the way you did with Queen’s Bath. Just a suggestion!

This is a must purchase when visiting Kauai. You’ll feel as if Andrew, narrator and developer, is in your car as you drive and explore the beautiful island. All the local knowledge will be shared on your drives as the app intuitively knows your location while driving!

Informative and FUN!
We did many fun things during our 6 days on Kauai, including my first ever time scuba diving. But the best over-all day was starting early in the morning (which is easy to do thanks to the roosters) and driving ALL over the island being guided by Andrew’s narration. So informative, clever and funny. Next time we’ll also get his book. Highly recommend!

We named our guide Kauai Ken cuz it felt like he was in the car with us pointing out detail by detail and stories behind the places we drive past. Gives us plenty of time to make a turn and how they’re pronounced. Even what type of food to get from 7-11 and Walmart.Lizzylu65
