LOVED IT.
I have played all the love island games but I have got to say that the bombshell season is by far my favourite one! I absolutely loved the characters.. the graphics.. and just the storyline! I was able to couple up with the guy I wanted towards the end and also had plenty of romantic opportunities if I wished too! I got so attached to everyone especially Thabi, who is an absolutely sweetheart, and I just love how inclusive the game is becoming with the black people wearing bonnets. It’s beautiful to see. I do hate how many gem options there are and how it’s also hard to earn gem rewards unless you buy them or win them by doing quests, which costs gems, so it’s a bit of a cycle. Waited for this app to redeem itself after season 2 but it’s not happening
I’m sorry, idk what goes into making an app. I know it must be hard work, but this update and new version is horrible. The graphics and gameplay from Season 2 of Love Island ( which they remained Love Villa 🤨 ) were amazing, the story was entertaining and kept you wanting more. I actually didn’t mind making purchases with that season. Everything else after that, was just bad. And this, just took my disappointment to another level. It’s lacking; im usually excited to design my character but not this time; no matter what I do she’s just unappealing to me. The gameplay so far and it’s layout are just as disappointing. I heard they fired their old staff; that was a mistake. If you want a better game to play, Netflix has released a new game for it’s subscribers called Too Hot To Handle ( im guessing they must of hired the staff you fired ? ) Because that game has what this one has lost. so i’ve never played these games as majority of the comments have and are complaining, so this is an unbiased review here. i played bombshell and really enjoyed it. i’d rate that alone 4 stars :) i ended up being bruno’s girlfriend! i’m barely starting the ex in the villa. but overall i’d say there needs to be improvements in every department. i’ll admit i spent money on gems / tickets but only bc i was impatient and didn’t wanna wait a total of 4 hours for 2 tickets.
that’s problem number one for me. at least give us 4 tickets bc it’ll be 1 ticket every hour basically. 2 hours seems too long, especially since some episodes are VERY short / irrelevant (a musical really iykyk). I saw that pattern in bombshell. my second issue is customization. not a lot of free options available but i guess that’s what makes YOU purchase gems from the creators. it’s giving Episode vibes which i hate. my other complaint is there’s only 2 seasons available ? the bombshell and ex one. idk where the other seasons ppl are saying are but yeah.

Fake ratings
The negative reviews are speaking the truth. FuseBox has single handily ruined their own reputation by continuing to mass fire their employees that actually want to give consumers what they’ve given us in the past. Now they are forcing linear storylines when it’s advertised as a choice game. Our choices do not matter we are forced into uncomfortable situations base on FuseBox negligence and need for $$ they’re more concerned about spiking their prices and faking success than creating a game their fans have been waiting for over years now. I suggest other games such as Too Hot To Handle game, Coupled Up, and or Romance Club where choices do matter and fans will finally feel like they’re able to play their own game with replayable content unlike Love Island. There will be a new season I suggest people not spend money unless FuseBox acknowledges their mistakes and make a conscious decision that change. Huge downgrade
Love Island the game is such a downgrade from literally every season in the og love island game.
First off, it makes you pay gems for everything and not only that but the prices are twice as high. Which would be more fair if they had the feature to watch adds and earn gems like the previous game, but no. They don’t even give us gems after we read an episode. Instead, they have to complete these quests which take more time and money. You have to use twice as many gems just to get half as much. Speaking of half, the passes now each require you to wait 2hrs. 2hrs for each bruh. And you can’t watch an add or anything to cut the time. They just want you to buy their deals which aren’t even good ones. This game has become so dumb bruh it’s not even fun anymore. Idk what’s going on with the development but something needs to change. Cause this game is lacking big time. And don’t get me started on that excuse of a season “Ex in the Villa”👎Show lessLostgoldfish
Please fix the bugs in app
I keep having issues with the app when replaying season 5, it opens a random episode that I haven’t played yet. The worst bug is episode 40 — I have tried hundreds of times to restart the app, restart the episode, restart the volume — it will still play a sequence of random 2 second scenes after the “let’s find out!” dialogue.

Overall… meh.
I’ll start off saying I really loved the first app of the love island game with the first few season, they were super fun to go through! That being said, after going through the two newer seasons, I’m not very impressed. The overall tone has shifted with this new app and seasons. The clothes for one are much uglier, and the game heavily pushes you to spend money every single chapter buying new ones which gets tiring. I feel like in these last two seasons, particularly 5, my choices did not matter whatsoever. To avoid spoilers, the entire season is spent trying to pair you up with one particular character that I found quite detestable and no matter how many times I picked the option to decline them and move on with literally any other character option offered, it always goes back to them. This factor alone quite turned me off from the game and I’m not sure I’ll play any further seasons. The character writing has become abysmal and the chapters are so much shorter than they used to be (all while the time it takes to get tickets to play the chapters takes way too long. Waiting one hour for maybe 8 minutes of game is straight up laughable to me.) Such a shame this game took quite the downturn, I would avoid.Show lessSpencer2597
Worst season ever
Season 1 was engaging enough for me to play season 2 (which I have replayed multiple times). Season 3 was okay. Season 4 started out well but crash landed and season 5 was just boring. At the end of season 5 I didn’t care who I picked , or that Bobby from season 2 was the MC, or the speeches or dates….today’s three episodes were quite frankly just a last minute money grab. While the art was good for season 5 the story was lackluster, choices meh, opportunity to get to know other islanders and number of islanders was practically non existent. The rating could have def been rated for 12+ not 17+ and frankly I didn’t want to play a kids game. Know your audience-which you obviously no longer do. Your competition “CoupleUp” is def worth waiting for, IF fusebox comes out with a season 6 I won’t be following updates. You guys peaked at season 2 and it’s been downhill from there. It’s too bad, I really enjoyed the game for awhile and was def interested in giving each new season a chance but I’m done now. I don’t know what is going on with story writing and willingness to have the same complexity of season 2 but unfortunately I am no longer interested in the game. Just noticed how you deleted my review and apparently many others. It’s saying 69 reviews but I know there been a ton more than that. Even with you guys deleting them you still can’t get the star rating about 2 now ever since the ending was put out. Season 4 is the WORST season yet. Don’t believe me? Play it for yourself and don’t forget to leave an honest review. Customization horrible - no gender picking, no body picking.. can’t even pick face shape? My MC was so hard to make halfway decent. Story could’ve been better and challenges weren’t even challenges.. you’re set up to win and learning about other characters doesn’t really matter. No real consequences in this storyline. And not even a choice of love(split money) or money lol such a joke. I’ve got tickets and gems on the other app that will now never be used either so thanks for that. You did everyone dirty including the OG team you fired - rumored - if true.. look how great that worked out for you.

Not Worth The Time Or Money
I loved love island 1-3 absolutely loved them especially season 3 with Harry then of course season 2 with Bobby. Those seasons were written beautifully. But with this app season 4-5 are honestly crappy, like really crappy. Your being forced to be with one character while the one you actually want isn’t an option or takes forever to be an actual option leaving you with load of episodes that are just boring and kinda make you mad from constantly being pushed in a direction you don’t wanna go in. Season 5 is almost over and none of the final options are good options I wanted to be with Eddie even spent diamonds on him just for him to be dumped and have him choose Dana. It’s just a mess and honestly think there shouldn’t be a season 6 with how bad seasons 4-5 are.Show lessRoseberry2000
