A dream come true— absolutely worth the patience
This is honestly the kind of app I’ve been searching for my whole life.
Yes, there’s currently lag, but the community here and the attention to detail in the social aspects is impeccable and I know will only get better. I have full confidence. I can’t understate the amount of good experiences I’ve had already in meeting artists and finding more artists that I don’t know if I’d ever find. Especially as I’ve been avoiding Twitter and Instagram because of the negative impact they’ve had on my mental health.

Lovely app!
I’ve been struggling to find a good place to post art for awhile and I think I’ve finally found my place. The interface is very user friendly and making posts is simple. It’s a little slow but I can’t complain considering how new it is :) I hoping to see the possibility of a Content Warning setting for art just to make sure everyone is comfortable(there is a gore warning function already that I appreciate) but overall, I really enjoy the app and the communityShow lessSatyrBanter

This app is a much needed thing for artists to find and support one another. It’s also very useful for non artists to come find artists to commission or hire or just buy prints from!
My only gripe is that the app is still very new and very slow, and this can frustrating very fast. You just have to remember that this app has a smaller dev team and the servers are trying their best.

Cant get past the account making page
I know this app is new and I’d love to support and use it as I love the concept and most of my friends have been using it. Yet, I can’t even get past the account making phase. Idk if it’s because I’m using an iPad or what but each time I try to use something with the keyboard and hit next or the photo button it just shows a white page with no way out of it
I know it’s buggy as it’s fairly new and all so it’s not a huge problem, I just hope an update comes out soon so I can actually use the appShow lessrottenteddyyy
Major Potential!
I love the concept of this app. Though launch week’s version of this app is a bit scuffed, I’m going to stick with it til more things are added.
The only thing I haven’t really seen on the Instagram for this app that kinda scares me is that we can’t add multiple images to a post. Adding multiple images would make posting a bit easier because what if you wanna add a close up? you'd have to post again that most likely won’t get noticed as easily.
Hopefully adding multiple images to a post gets added like the others features coming soon. As well as a color wheel for your profile color, that’d be sick.Show lessKKCondor

These guys are working hella hard and I’m so happy for them. Downloaded it a few days ago and I’ve definitely been anticipating this app for a while! Of course it’s a little slow, but I know it’s for a reason haha. I will say; I’m shocked to see actual people outside my mutuals finding my stuff. I come from Instagram, and really I only ever saw my mutuals in my notifications. I can already tell this is gonna be it for me, my gosh. Also; will we be able to upload more than one image in one post at some point? Or is that already a feature and I just missed it😂 either way, amazing work✨✨Show lessawesome_person92937472
a promising new app!
I downloaded artfol because a lot of my friends participated in beta testing and they enjoyed it. It was a little (very) laggy and I had difficulty making an account. Apparently that’s just because lots of people are getting it though. I like the overall design, but I do have a few suggestions
- allowing for multiple images in each post. a lot of artists draw comics that take up several slides, and trying to post them all separately in order would be a hassle what with the ten money posting cooldown. also, I know that some artists like to provide close-ups of larger drawings.
- have a tutorial when you first open the app that explains what everything does. I was really confused at first, I think that would help.
For people who are wondering if they should get artfol, I definitely recommend it. It’s a little rough right now but you can tell that it’s a work in progress. I think eventually people will settle in and we’ll be able to have a really nice community away from the toxicity of Instagram. Right now it feels lonely, but I am sure that’s going to change!Show lessujvcdghkkmn
The concept is great!
I really like the Artfol concept, I can basically just do everything in Instagram but better, my images don’t get bad quality attacks and I can just really enjoy watching other’s art. I would recommend having a Commissions’s catalog, like a page where I can see all the different commissions from different accounts, or maybe there is one and K am just blind. Cause I find it hard to just enter account by account looking for someone with commissions. Apart from that, it is a great app.Show lessDHGAMERTAG
Amazing but need a bit fixes
This is an amazing app that helps bring other artists come together and support each other in this community! It has been a bit a laggy and glitch since it’s still in beta, but the developers of the app have been trying to improve and make updates on the app, they also keep us updated on what’s has been fixes and the features they will be adding on Instagram!! Much Better Than Instagram
I love using Artfol so much!! I’ve only been using it for 2 days, but I can already tell it’s SO much better than Instagram. It’s made for artists by artists, there’s no algorithm, and there are art challenges and lots of more people can see your posts! It’s much more encouraging to make art and upload it where people will actually see it.
Yes, the app is a bit laggy, but it’s only because so many people are joining at once. Once the influx goes down, it’ll be back to normal!! Kudos to the amazing 2-person team ^^Show lessD3X1R33
