THE BEST HYS APP
Prizepool is the best and I don’t know why more people haven’t heard of it. They give you MULTIPLE ways to win money on top of the 4.5% APY. I love this app bc I am getting almost 10% ROI. It’s so much fun spinning the prize wheel everyday and doing the drawing every week. I haven’t received a high amount in the drawing prize yet, I think the most I’ve gotten was $15 (which is amazing in itself) but I am so grateful to have found this generous savings app. There is so much they offer with it! Don’t sleep on this app!! I spin the prize wheel daily and either get money or more tickets for the drawing each week. It’s all winning in my opinion. Who ever reads this I think will love it. Just give it a try and save that Money! You have nothing to lose!

Have had for a couple years and love it
This is my favorite savings account. I’ve had this for I think going on three years now. I’ve earned $20 (I make small deposits, but the more money you save the better your chances of earning) just by using PrizePool. In my experience, especially being low income, this banking app has been better than savings accounts I’ve had with traditional banks.

Needs improvements
The good stuff:
- I subscribe to stacked and the 4.5% interest rate on your savings is amazing
- They have really quick customer service if you have questions.
- They are adding a lot of new features to help you earn/save money
Needs Improvement:
- The prize wheel game needs to have a quick play button where you can spend 5000 of your tickets and it automatically shows you what you win that day. The graphics take too long and the sound is really annoying.
- The weekly drawing needs to just show up with what you want instead of having you shake to reveal. Again, just an annoying hassle.
I understand that you guys might be making it a hassle because you don’t want people to do it so you don’t have to pay out more money. But I pay for stacked and expect some bonuses. And I also understand that maybe some people enjoy those things, but there has to be a setting to get rid of them for people that don’t want to spend time on that.
But if you’re just going to keep wasting our time to make us click on stuff, it’s worth more to me to go and put my money in Robin Hood gold or into a Credit Karma savings account where it can get 5.1% interest with no fees and also not waste my time.
If you fix these things then not only will I leave a 5 star review, but I’ll also keep my money in an account with you.

Thieves
Company starts taking money out of your account without your permission only that but you try to unsubscribe and you can’t you can’t unlink your account or anything unless you talk to your bank and have them do it for you now that I have actually left and told them to cancel the subscription now they’re saying I owe them 189 because they didn’t cancel the subscription even though I told him a month ago to do so don’t trust these people they’re thieves

BEST SAVINGS ACCOUNT EVER!!!
PrizePool was recommended to me in a financial subscription I’ve had for several years. It sounded so awesome, getting chances to win so many of their cash prizes, so I linked my bank account! The 1st week, I won! It was $2.00, but that’s waaaay more than my big institutional bank gives me! Last week, I won another $2.00! Another week I WON $100!!! Since that win, I’ve had a few $10 wins & a few .20 wins. Like I said, u won’t get that from one of the big banks! I feel secure keeping money here because they’re a member of the FDIC. I can’t say anything bad about PrizePool-it’s legit! I read the founder & co-founder’s bios, & these guys are from Microsoft & Apple...so I know this is a solid company. I’ve kept money here for almost 2 years & have NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE IN TRANSFERRING MONEY TO OR FROM PRIZEPOOL:)

I have received my money finally after alot of confusion, time and 3 plus weeks. This savings account could be good in use long term, but short term liquidity this is not your best option. With all of the struggles and time it took to receive my money, I cannot see this app as a good option for most. You have a very rare lucky chance to win a good sum of money in the “prize” but the odds are slim to none. Just to make enough money back in interest from your savings to pay for the membership, you would need about 2-3k saved just to pay for the app. Remember, 4.5% roi unless you’re frequently playing the prizes (and winning prizes). You would need 2.5k just to break even. HYSA are better imo, more hands off and similar returns without membership charges. But if you have fun and enjoy this app knock yourself out!! I think theyre investing it and making much better returns, and you could too!!

Lacking
Over the time I have had this account I have taken note to its slow adoption to crypto wallet lower services compared to other companies Such as lower security for your accounts No tax information freely given unless requested making hard to adjust for taxes making it annoying to use No form of community efforts or games within to share prizes with friends only that of a pyramid scheme for whom is first reaps the rewards program and last shall have nothing else But know way of knowing what friends have won unless you asked them so no true way of being informed that you have won anything due to friends except that you must simply trust that it’s being given out fairly. So far I have stuck around to see if they would improve over the year but it seems to be lagging behind the overall idea of a prized base savings account.

I was enjoying it UNTIL!!!
Okay so PrizePool just came out with a new feature called Stacked. It’s where you pay an annual fee of $99 for 4.25% apy. I don’t have enough In my account to outweigh that $99. As I was reading the benefits, I accidentally clicked “purchase” and it immediately took the money out of my account WITHOUT confirming if that’s what I really wanted to do. Come to find out it’s non refundable. This was for my emergency fund and now I’m out $99 for an engineering mistake which seems intentional. Please be careful. They still pay out like they say they will but I’m debating cashing out and closing my account after this. I need my $99 back, if my finger slipped I should not be punished.
