Chessable is great, the app is awful
Chessable is such a great tool but the app just doesn’t work properly. Everything is really slow even with full signal. And offline mode doesn’t function properly at all. I’d love for this app to be fixed, particularly offline mode.hdgdjdjdjshshjdndid

I love chessable but the iPad app lacks features that are found on the desktop/web app, such as being able to annotate moves with arrows or highlights when adding your own variations. I always have to switch to the web app on my laptop to be able to use the mouse in order to annotate moves when adding my own variations. Please add this to the mobile versions or at least the iPad version....it would be great to be able to annotate using the Apple pencil!Show lessCorrky

Very confusing layout and not reliable.
I subscribed to 1 month, luckily not one year, to test out the Pro version to see if it would improve the experience and it was still insisting on trying to charge me for Pro courses and didn’t add any new features I could find.
Also the app keeps telling me I’m not on the internet when I am.

Opening explorer isn’t available on the mobile app so you have to manually search for your opening line which can take forever.
If you do it in browser then when you click ‘search courses for position’ the courses you already own should be at the top of the results.
Then when you click ‘back’ it should remember the line you just input. What currently happens is I input a line, find no results so I want to search again from 1 move earlier but now I have to start all over again. It makes me wish I’d bought the courses elsewhere as searching a pgn is much quicker when you finish a game and want to quickly check where you went wrong.Show lessR.Edwards

Too a flight a wasn’t able to use the offline function. If this it fixed, then I’d say its a the go-to tool for learning tactics and openings. For endgames you need a better self-evaluation tool as endgames really can’t be memorized as lines.Dazx
