Fantastic! for serious chess players and beginners
This is the best ‘learning to play better chess’ app out there! Lots free books to play through and lots more to purchase. Easy to use the ‘movie trainer’ feature which gently teaches you what to do. Some books have videos to watch as well. Perfect for club players looking to improve but enough to keep the masters engrossed as well. If you enjoy chess and want to improve - this is the v1 of the best chess app ever!! Great to finally have this available on iPhone.

The future of learning chess
I’ve been using the web version of this app for over 2 years. I use it to practice my openings, remember middlegame patterns and important endgames. The courses available are amazing and the spaced repetition method is quite powerful.
