Went in doubtful, came out hopeful.
My father called me one day telling me he had stopped smoking after he had been smoking for 30+ years. I was baffled and he told me that this app was to thank for it. I myself had been vaping since I was 15 and had always wanted to stop. I had tried cold turkey, weening off, non-nicotine vapes, none of it worked. When I started the app, I was very skeptical, I thought there was no way that an app on my phone could make me quit smoking. Well, low and behold, I have stopped smoking for almost a month after I have been smoking for almost 5 years. I really couldn’t believe it. I am still processing the fact that I was able to stop and don’t have the desire to smoke anymore. It really changed everything. If you’re thinking about quitting smoking, do this program. I have been a smoker for 25+ years. I have been wanting to quit smoking for a long time & never could actually follow through. This program worked for me and has allowed me to quit without having serious withdrawals, where in the past would lead me to irritation and serious anger. It was a smooth transition to being a nonsmoker and I appreciate that more than anything. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to quit and is willing to put in the time. Best part when you first join is that you can continue to smoke as usual, though after the first few lessons you won’t want to. Used this app in my journey and it was a godsend. I didn’t have many people around me who smoked, so I didn’t feel like I had a strong support system as no one knew what I was going through. Not only was this app developed by someone who’d been where I was, you have your own personal support coach. It really did help retrain my brain so when the quitting actually occurred, I was prepared for the hurdles that came after, and was able to face them confidently and I have not smoked in over 3 months with no desire to! If you take the time to work through this program, it will more than likely be successful!Show less
