Not recommend
I applied for passport renewal on May 11, 2023 and I haven’t heard back anything about its status. I would say the app is user-friendly and easy to use but the main drawback of this app is you have no option to follow up your status, thats a bummer! Moreover, there is no one to reach out for explanation or contact. I would not agree any more to say that the communication is a disaster, you just get a notification of your application just once, the rest is blackbox. I don’t know if there are any other options out there, in general I don’t recommend at all.

Is there any update
I’m trying to renew my origin ID due to fact my ID has expired. The problem that I have, once I select why I want to renew my ID, the next step gives a reason why I want do I want to correct my first, last, middle… etc. names, which I don’t need correct anyone of them. Is there an update to fix this bug? I’m using an iphone14 if that matter.

Where do you pay $100 processing fee for simple 2 minute renewal? INVEA and it's ripoff accomplice Viditure
Pooooooor
Very poor service with a very limit training. It sound’t take more than a month to reject and notify. The whole purpose of showing two ears in the picture is to show the whole face, not that the ears are in the picture. When my US passport was accepted with the same picture how sad you rejected mine how funny it’s not even a new application to renew for the third time.

Passport renewal
The worse service I have ever had!!
Uploaded all required documents for renewing passport and they sent me an email saying there is a missing document. Tried to reach them to send me a link to upload missing doc but there is no reply. Communication is terrible, I would have rather went to the Embassy to renew my passport. Still trying to contact them, the mailbox is full and they don’t reply to my emails. They charged me $160 and I feel I have been scammed. Don’t use this app!!

Good start and has room for improvement
First, I would like to say that I was very happy with doing what I needed virtually without having to go to the embassy in-person. This app is a good start to convenient customer service, but the interface leaves a lot to be desired. One thing I noticed is that there is a “save and continue later” option, but when you return back to it at a later point, it won’t let you review/ edit what you have entered before you continue from where you left off, so you have to gather your documents first and do everything in one sitting. I didn’t realize this fast enough so I had to start multiple applications, which leads me to my second issue. The app won’t let you delete any application that you started working on but did not complete/ submit. Although I successfully completed and submitted an application and it was processed within 3 weeks (which is phenomenal), the app will not let me delete the ones I no longer need. Anyways, keep up the good work!!!

Still Waiting for passport ALMOST 4 MONTHS
They promise that you will receive your passport within days but I have been waiting for my renewed passport to arrive for almost 4 months!! I have received zero updates since the confirmation of my application for renewal on this app. I also know of another person who applied a few days before me. Last I heard she is also still waiting for her passport!!
1. No updates from Ethiopia explaining the reasons for delay.
2. No help from Ethiopian embassy when you call for help.
This one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Fingerprint
Here in the part of USA where I live, you need Fingerprint Code. You need to give more information where to go and how to get it done.
App was good but renewal took longer
The app is friendly & was easy to use, they even have web support & live customer service. But I really don’t understand why I had to wait more than a month for my passport renewal if I paid 160$ for an expedited one. I called customer support but instead of them helping you, they tell you a comforting lie & hang up, there’s not specific time frame of when it will come, neither an alternative method. Truly disappointing.
