  • Can’t Log In

    All I’m doing is copying password from my password manager to the login screen. When you click away, anywhere, the password wipes away. Pretty awful user experience.
  • Wanted to love this

    I really wanted to love this product but I could not hear my child when she would answer my calls or leave me voice texts. I spent more than 8 hours with support to resolve the issue to no avail. I think this product needs more time in development to launch. It is too difficult to troubleshoot and too many errors that are time costly to attempt to fix.

  • Notifications Don’t Work on iPhone

    I just activated the Angel Watch for my 8 year old - it’s working fine, but I’m not getting any notifications on my iPhone when my son sends a chat. I checked the settings on my phone and all notifications are enabled. Still nothing :(
  • Login issues

    Just got this watch and had issues from the get go. Watch was reset do you login issues, created new account with my email, and had to reset the password several times 5x now and still can’t login in with new password email is correct because I am getting verification codes to reset it. Can’t even use the dang watch like it is meant to be used. So far app is horrible

  • Wanted to like it

    I’ve had so much trouble with the Angel Watch. The few times it has worked properly, my kid was able to walk to a nearby playground without me and I could easily check in. But a lot of the time the watch has trouble connecting to 4G, so we can’t use it at all. Supposedly it should still be able to make phone calls, but I’ve never been able to get it to make a call successfully. The app is confusing, and it will seem like you’ve done something right (such as adding a contact to the phone book), but then the contact disappears. The GPS is slow and not very accurate. It sometimes would show my child as being two blocks from where she was. Customer service is very responsive, but they can’t always solve the problem. I’m on my second watch with this company and I’m about to give up.

  • App crashes

    What sounded like a wonderful product pairs with a horrific app that continuously rejects my log in rendering the service essentially useless. The product is to help communicate and monitor children, but I’ve only been able to access the app a few times since subscribing. Changes cannot be made to the watch/device unless it’s through the app. Very, very frustrating!

  • Probably the best watch for kids. Highly recommended.

    I found this app very easy to use and intuitive.

    Registration was straightforward (just scan a QR code) and everything worked right away.

    We decided to go with their cell partner Red Pocket GSMA and it worked right away. We just activated the SIM card and everything worked perfectly.

    Things I love about this product/app:

    1) Really easy to set up and works right away
    2) It's reliable and works great. Haven't had any issues with any features.
    3) Has far more features and capability than others in the market
    4) Feels like a quality product with a clean app
    5) It's free with no subscription
    6) We can add all of our kids and their watches onto the same app and see them all there on the map
    7) I can control everything on the watch from the app
    8) Video calls are clear and easily audible

    Things I don't love:

    1) Messages are shared between all family members. Guess you have to think of it more as a group chat than one-on-one messaging. I can live with it.
    2) Can't change the watch's ringtone, but it's not bad and you can change the volume
    3) Sometimes it takes a min for a message to arrive onto the watch when sent from the app. Messages from the watch to the app are fast though. Could be more of a service issue.

    Overall:

    This watch is a great product and well worth it. It’s not some Chinese junk and feels like a more sophisticated product with their own ecosystem. Or like the Gizmo that only works half of the time, is the same price and doesn’t even have video calling.

    I love that I can offer my kids a cell phone with all the most useful parts effectively that isn't a cell phone that has a bunch of social media apps, internet, etc. This product really is a 'digital tether' and we're really happy to have this. It has already become indispensable and allows my daughter to bike home now that the school buses are a total disaster story. Great product, excellent customer service and intuitive app.

  • Can’t even log in...

    I purchased the Angel Watch back in July and haven’t had time to trouble shoot getting it to work and cooperate with the former SeTracker2 app. When I logged into that app, it prompted me to enter a new password which I did and gained access to my account. I was able to set up one watch but was not showing accurate location/info. I shut the app down and opened it again where I was prompted to enter my password. Neither my old or new password worked. Resetting my password didn’t work. And now it told me I was locked out for 7 hours because of my attempts to gain access to my account. Then I went to the Angel Watch Co website and learned of this app. I thought GREAT! They developed their own app! Downloaded it and tried to create an account and it said I already have an account. So it’s the same app just with a new interface. I was able to create a new account using a different email only to again be unable to repeatedly log in to the app. Both times I’ve tried to set these watches up has been hours of hassle with no final success. I think I wasted my money. Not to mention my son (who is maybe 45” tall dropped his watch over tile floor and cracked the whole screen basically in half). While I’m hoping this is a server error that will be resolved, I have no way to verify this. And regardless, the second I can afford to buy a quality replacement, I’m ditching this app and the watches.

    We're so sorry to hear of all the difficulties you've had with your Angel Watch account. Rest assured, we're here for you to resolve this. With regards to your account, if you are able to log in, we would suggest deleting the account, calling us to reset your watches and and re-register taking care to list your account area as North America. If you are unable to log in, your spam filter may be preventing the password reset emails from coming through. Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to call us to reset everything for you and register a new account with any other email and you will be able to register the watches like new. The purpose of the email is just to log in and account recovery- nothing more. Regarding the location accuracy, the most accurate source (as indicated in the Angel Watch app's Map) will be GPS. The watch can also source location by WiFi or LBS. If you are outside with a clear view of the sky, the watch will connect to the GPS satellites to give you extremely accurate positioning 5m-10m. If you are indoors and you see WiFi as your source, the watch is finding the watch's location using the IP address. This is accurate from 50m-100m. And finally, if you are neither on WiFi nor outside (i.e. in an underground parking lot), the watch will find the approximate location to the nearest cell phone tower with an accuracy of 50m-1000m.
