Buggy release
The new release is useless. I can’t log anything. Yesterday I could, today I can’t. It’s either a critical bug OR they are now charging for basic functionality. I feel tricked with the update. The update notes say nothing about functionality changes. The plus, I can log for multiple pets and share with my spouse. Or, at least I could back when it worked.

Hi! I see you're on app version 3.1.5 Please update to the lastest release (3.1.6), which already fixes the described issue. It was happening when Reduced Motion was enabled in iOS settings, sorry about that! If any issues persist, please write to feedback@dognote.app
Fantastic App
This app helped me potty train my miniature dachshund puppy. She’s now 1.5 years old and thriving!!
I love the ability to share between a family, so my husband and I (who are on different schedules) have access to the feed. We never have to ask each other when the last time our dog went potty. It also helps me track medication, vet appointments, and feeding.
The developer of the app is very responsive and has worked with me to troubleshoot bugs and issues after updates.
In top of that, it’s free!!!! Great app.

Great, but latest release came with bugs
Have used this app for months since getting a new puppy and it’s worked out great. However, this latest release updated the UI (which is good) but it came with some bugs and performance issues. The app runs a bit slower now and takes a while to post a new entry. Also, there’s now an issue when trying to run an iOS Shortcut where I now keep getting an “internal error” when the Shortcuts were working fine prior to this latest release.

I believe all the bugs and performance issues are now addressed, please update your app if you haven't done so already 🙂 Regarding iOS Shortcuts giving "internal error", this is a consequence of an architecture change making Intents separate app extension. Sorry about breaking old shortcuts, this should not happen again. They should be much more performant now 🚀

I love this app! I only didn’t give it 5 stars because the notifications don’t seem to be working for me, and it would be nice to be able to choose multiple emojis for the events - but other than that it’s great!!

Been using this for our new dog, it’s great. Helps us know what we need to do / what’s been done if we’re not home at the same time.

As a Neurodivergent I tend to download apps than forget they exist. This app has a wonderful simple and easily usable interface and unlike my normal use I noticed how much I’ve actually used it. Plus I’ve not spent a dime, it’s good enough I’ll likely update to support the developers.
Great App!
Works well for both me and my boyfriend for our one pet. The interface looks modern, it’s easy to add events, and you can sync with another person without having to pay to unlock premium features- something most other apps require. A few suggestions we’d make are: ability to choose light or dark mode instead of it automatically changing, seeing how long it has been since the event was logged (i.e. 3 min. ago, 2 hrs ago, etc.) on the activity page underneath the time it was charted, the ability to add a note to the activity page without it being attached to an event, and having the analytics page provide more useful information. It’s not helpful to me to see what percent of activity is logged by who, but it would be helpful to see how many times each event was logged and for how long.

Great app which is simple to use, with a few refinements it will be perfect.
Pay for more than 2 pets
I was really hoping this app would be great for reminders and rare events like every 5 years for rabies shot, 6 month cleanings, etc. I added my first 2 dogs and when I went to add a 3rd, it was either $30/year or $3/month. I do not understand why they want you to pay for the service if you have 3 pets and not 2. Deleted it. I’ll just use iCal.

Doesn’t work
When I open the app, it just goes back to the Home Screen of my iPhone it’s probably because I still have iOS 15
