Needs more work
Have been a Fronius user the last four days since having solar installed with a Fronius inverter. The app is great when it’s working, however really awful and still need lots of work still to do. I can only imagine it would be exactly the same for paid subscribers. Key couple issues:
- app fails to load current power production when the inverter is showing the current production
- history PV production loads with pure luck, if it loads, it’s a good day. However, the web version seems to load a little better with graph and production numbers but still at times fails to load.
How can one keep their energy provider accountable with what is sold back to the grid when it doesn’t show the key Production number?Show lessj3hm3r

Decent app usability wise but flaky and buggy.
Since about a week ago, my overview dashboard has stopped showing the green charge line.
Also, I often have to force close the app and reopen to get it to connect and fetch data properly to show the graph.SharkulentPrime

The latest update resolved the bug of the app not populating the Day History Tab.
App is quick, graphics are easy to read and modern looking. Dark Mode is a great addition.
Much better than the older Solar.Web Live app, which felt like a webpage within an app wrapper.
Overall, I am finally happy to have gone with a Fronius Inverter; previously, I felt I had gone with a company stuck in 2009.
It would be great if Fronius had a API and supported Smart Home standards.Show lessKirk Shum

When I look at History/Day, I see under PV production “W” & a graph showing up to 2.5 for March 1. If I go to History/Month for March 1, I see 11.19 kWh. What does the W 2.5 represent? Shouldn’t the day also show 11.19 kWh. Like being able to see previous months history, also use the old Solar.web appShow lesswateron

The app is good when it’s actually working to be able to see what is being produced, but it’s difficult most of the time to even connect to the server. I am constantly getting a “cannot connect to the server” message come up. There is no option to refresh any of the tabs, and majority of the time it does not automatically refresh when opening the app or changing tabs. A lot of features that are on the desktop view aren’t available on the app.Show lessKayh.R

This app has been written for phones only not for or as well as pads. Though it still works. Therefore you will get a phone view on any size pad. It also does not screen rotate on a pad. Come on developers this is 2021 not 2010chasandstephen

A nice app, a little different to get used to from the previous ones.
It would be good if the calculations were split up a bit more. The daily energy cost calculated doesn’t account for export earnings being taken off as well.
How about an Apple TV and watch app??dandaman*

This app has been updated and released as a new app. It has a clear layout and uses colours to better display the PV production and self consumption. I realise not everyone has a Fronius Smartmeter installed so this comment may not be applicable but most people with solar want to know how much power has been imported or exported to the grid. The app contains this data but obfuscates it by requiring you to subtract values from one another (grid import= total consumption-self consumption) or (grid export=PV production-self consumption) to arrive at these values when checking your power bill. Otherwise a good app. The previous app lacked reference data updates such as daylight savings changes and wouldn't display data for that day. Time will tell if this app is fully supported going forward.Show less1234Weather

I only have solar and don’t have usage monitoring. This app looks pretty stupid when that’s the case. The old basic app looks better for my use case. The old pro app has much more flexible graph viewing.jandyf1
