Ahh! I love Crime Junkie and I am so happy I joined the fan club. Every morning, I get up and while I am getting ready, I listen to Crime Junkies! It is nice to be able to get episodes early since I am a club member. I also like the ad free and being able to just listen to an episode in it's entirety. I love being able to see the pictures or other materials pop up automatically. It really helps you stay engrossed in the story. Oh! And early access to merch! Love it! I have been a true crime junkie and crime junkies help me and others get access to people's and families' stories. I love that they are able to help and a part of bringing justice to those that need it. I love Crime Junkie!
I am a mom of 3 teenage daughters and we all love listening.. we have all learned so much, it’s so comforting to know that, with the help of Ash and Brit of course, my daughters are so much more aware and also more prepared if they find themselves in a scary situation.. they also preach to their friends about safety in situations where they may not be making smart decisions.. I could not be more proud of them♥️ I have one daughter who wants to go into law so that she can make a difference regarding making the world a safer place for all people.. thank you, crime junkie, for your support in teaching my daughters some of the most important lessons they will ever learn in this life ♥️♥️♥️
Crime Junkie has been my favorite podcast for years. I’m currently writing this while listening to an episode and wearing my favorite crime junkie hoodie (which I got on sale and early from being a member of the fan club) I love the app, being able to see all the pictures while I listen, engaging in the discussion boards etc. My only complaints would be the auto play often doesn’t work (playing the next episode; I listen to sleep) and I REALLY wish there was an option for queues and playlists for long car rides but I feel like it’s a pretty minor inconvenience in the grand scheme. Over all I love and I’m so glad to be a member of the fan club. Bonus episodes make a huge difference in awareness!

I used to listen to Crime Junkie on Apple Podcasts, but now that they have the app, I use that exclusively. The pictures, the maps, the extras that you can follow along with throughout the episode are great. There's also a community feature where you can comment on episodes with other crime junkies. In addition, there is an announcements section all the upcoming things! Ashley and Brit post videos in there as well as other extra fun tid bits. I am part of the fan club, so I get the early releases through the app and it's the best! Whenever you have any questions, you can contact their help team directly through the app and they're super quick and friendly. Really enjoy this app!!!

I love the access to extra content. I don’t know that I’ll renew when it comes time to do so. I cannot understand how this can’t be a functional app (esp with others noting the problems here and on the app itself in show replies).
-It will randomly log you out. I’ll be driving and and listening and it just logs me out of the show mid-listen.
-I’ll pause the show to do something for a second and then it won’t start playing again. App freezes. When I reopen the show is not there.
-It won’t save where you are in a show. I’ve had to resort to taking screenshots of each show when I pause so I know where to pick back up again.
-God forbid the days I don’t remember the screenshot because it won’t always show that I’ve started one. So if I started it and didn’t take the pic and don’t remember the title, then all bets are off that I’ll find it again until I happen upon in playing old ones.
-It sometimes won’t save that I’ve listened to a show, so when I filter, it still shows me ones I’ve heard.
I tried to troubleshoot this with the company. No difference. I’ve tried it with turning wifi off and on. No difference. I could see if this is a free thing, but we are all paying for this and it should be a working app for that.

After a few years and truly listening to all the podcasts on Apple , I decided to download the app and become a fan club member and I was NOT disappointed!! You receive more content, a community of people to communicate with, merch, and more . I am truly in LOVE with listening and Britt and Ashley are everything !!! Highly recommend downloading and joining our community!! Stay weird, stay rude, and stay alive !!!!!
I started listening to Crime Junkie a couple of years ago and became hooked to Ashley and Brits storytelling. I listened episode by episode during miles of traveling. I finally decided to try the fan club last year. The app made it so much easier to find episodes, see the announcements and listen episode by episode without having to scroll which was very difficult while trying to find the next episode.
The only thing I would like better would be an app with all AudioChuck podcasts available in one location. After thousands of miles I just finished all Crime Junkie episodes last night and can’t wait to catch up on the other podcast from AudioChuck.

I’m a long time listener. This podcast is my favorite ever. Ash and Brit do such a good job telling these stories and getting awareness out there for cases that may have been forgotten.
It feels good to have a membership with the crime junkie app on patreon because it allows more stories to be told and helps provide resources to help solve cases.
I would love to see an app refresh that would allow for queuing. I’ve recently bumped my membership from the $5 to the $10 a month option and so more episodes have opened up for me and man, do I feel behind because of it. I love that you can filter by case type like missing, murdered, serial killer, update and such but I would love for a queue option to be available so I can listen to an episode and then have an update of that episode waiting in the queue.
I also have had issues with the autoplay feature. It’s still not fixed. I usually have to start the next episode myself. Even if I’m listening from bottom to top. It would be great if that was fixed too. I have been able to send reports to audiochuck through my email. So I hope it helps the development team.
I would not dare give this podcast app anything less than 5 stars because I believe in the work that is being done at audiochuck. I want you all to be able to continue the fight for justice on all of these cases for a long long time. I love you all! You’re the best.

Having the synced visual content draws you so much deeper into the story, I love it. This is the only place I listen now because the stories are so much more engaging.
As for everyone complaining about issues with the app, I haven’t had any technical problems or experienced any glitches. But also, friendly reminder to make sure you aren’t susceptible to issues by keeping your OS and app up to date, and don’t use your phone if it’s overheating! If you do experience technical issues, you can easily message support thru the app or email them.
I can’t recommend this app enough, so go on and download it now!

Have a fantastic day!****EDIT: CJ team reached out and recommended i delete and reinstall, which looks like it too care of the problems! i love the access to episode resources available with pictures, community comments, and links all in one spot. i would LOVE if they made the rest of the audiochuck shows available on the app for top tier membership (if stability issues were fixed, i'd even pay extra for that). the bonus content was the absolute draw of joining the fanclub, and it does not disappoint. but as to the app, the sound cuts off at time and i have to restart the app in order to get anything to load. sometimes it doesn't like me opening other apps while it's playing, and i'll have to restart it at that point too. if im just listening and scrolling thru the app, no problems at all. if it weren't for those glitches, i'd give it 5 stars bc i love every thing the audiochuck team has been able to do.
