  • Premium and non premium

    I thought premium would include watching novelas that are playing on tv that same day but it doesn’t. I’m currently using non premium for that reason now and I’m fine with the ads but omg idk if it’s just my phone but when I exit the app or reply to a message the app blacks out and I have to exit completely. Then once I go back I lose my spot then I have to look for it continuously going through ads just because of exiting. I sometimes don’t even respond to stuff just to not lose my spot because if the continuous ads I have to sit through as if I didn’t have to watch so many already which again I’m fine with but tripling it is excessive. Please fix this issue if it’s just a me issue I’d like to know why if I’ve updated the app.

  • Awesome, only couple issues

    Amazing content. The major issues like forgetting where you were at in a show have been resolved. Their sports content is unmatched and would cost you much much more and multiple English streaming services to access. If you get them and Peacock you access to most football (soccer) content. Only 2 complaints. The ViX intro is much louder than everything else and will jar you. Like louder than anything else you watch on TV. The other is lack of English subtitles in some content which considering its Spanish language streaming service isn't a huge deal. But, there are some great shows I know family members that don't speak Spanish would enjoy but can't. I believe most of the more current larger shows have them though.

  • Mediocre

    As stated previously buying premium “without ads” still gets you ads. Attempting to cast either via Google cast or airplay leads to poor image quality and constant freezes and crashes. The tv apps themselves are somehow worse than just casting as they often don’t work at all. That said, the ads come out with perfect image quality and without fail. Shows where the priorities went. I won’t be renewing my subscription after the first month.

    Edit: Please don’t ask me to contact you directly, the issues are stated right in the review. This is just a feeble attempt at looking like you’re actively doing something about the same exact issues countless of people are complaining about here. It’s not as if the company is going to stop buying ads and injecting them into paying customers app.

  • About to cancel premium subscription

    I enjoy using the app, but there are some major issues that need to be addressed. Despite paying for the premium subscription, I have encountered problems with ads randomly playing during content that should be ad-free. Sometimes I can watch episodes without interruptions, but then suddenly a flood of ads appears, which should not happen with a premium subscription. Additionally, the ads are excessively long and frustrating.

    Furthermore, there is a inconvenience when switching between devices, as I often find myself logged out when moving from my living room TV to my bedroom TV. It is an annoying inconvenience that disrupts my viewing experience.

    I also believe it would be beneficial to have a feature like a "my list" or a "watch later" option to help organize the content better. While some issues like the wish list are minor, the problem with ads is significant and makes me question the value of my premium subscription. I am considering canceling and exploring other options if these issues are not resolved.

  • False advertising

    I just finished having the most ridiculous conversation with the support team.. The only reason why I got the premium service is because they advertised All the games from la liga mx are broadcast through them in Mexico and USA and so far I haven’t been able to watch my team play not even once. First of all.. they don’t give you a phone number, only chat or email.. the automated support sent me information that confirmed that they show all the games but when I requested to chat with a real person the Lady told me that not all the games are included I my area. They didn’t offer a solution after they took my money for the year I payed for. They gave me a file number but they said they won’t do anything about just document it. They say sorry many many times but they don’t care to fix the problem and they don’t accept that what they offer is not what they provide. They are happy to take your money and let you down.

  • Great app for Football

    I think it’s a great app, you can get all sorts of football in Spanish language on it. But I have one major issue with this app and I think it’s very basic and could be fixed. I’m using AppleTV 4K set top box, there is literally no fast forward, rewind or pause and play. When you start a game that is on demand, you can not use any of those functions. In fact, they have recorded 15-19 minutes before the game starts and you have to sit there and watch the clock run down before the game starts (no fast forwarding through that wait time). That’s just unacceptable in this day in age of apps. That needs to be fixed ASAP. You use the website version of the app and you can use those options but on AppleTV 4K set top box, it’s not existent. If it wasn’t for that, the lack of use of those functions, I’d give this app 5 stars. I hope VIX can fix that. Really do.

  • Loving it so far but hoping for a couple minor updates

    I was really saddened to see Pantaya go, but I am glad that it was folded into VIX. I appreciate that I can finally have one platform for all of my favorite Spanish language apps and the selection is great. I am hoping that they might make a few updates. First, the ability to create a queue/watchlist like other streaming platforms have would be great. The second, though not a deal breaker, is offering subtitles/captions in English. I grew up a receptive bilingual, meaning that I can understand, reads and even write in Spanish, but speaking it has been a much harder journey. Watching movies and television with subtitles has been proven to be incredibly helpful for language acquisition. It would be great for anyone interested in learning or trying to reclaim Spanish (or likewise, Spanish speakers hoping to practice English). Again, not a deal breaker, but definitely a wishlist item for the future.

  • A bit glitchy but lots of novelas

    Lots of free content in one app. Love all the movies and novelas but there are some thing that can be improved on the app. I paid for the plus version on roku so I can’t watch the plus stuff on my phone app. Would be nice if there was a Que to add movies or shows I’d like to watch later instead of having to look/ search through all of the content again to find it. And it would also be nice to be able to know where I left off. Sometimes some of the shows will show where you left off other don’t so I have to guess or rewatch part of an episode to figure out where I’m at which is a waste of time. Also when it does show me where it is, it will finish the episode I am on then start over from the very first episode instead of going to the next episode. Would watch more if they can fix these glitches and upgrade the app to add a Que.

    Updated review: Using the Apple box, I can finally screen mirror! Thank you! ViX and AppleTV is practically seamless! My suggestions: 1) the guide needs to be improved (the one on BLIM was fabulous and allowed us to see a week ahead. 2) I’d love for Lucero (the most awarded Spanish language actress—including an Emmy) to have her own channel but thankful I can access almost all her novelas. 3) being able to add shows to a “Mi Lista” would be great. 4) keep the scheduling of shows consistent, please. One week a show starts on Monday at 7 and the next week, the same show doesn’t start until 9:20, 5) a heads up when an “on demand” show is going to disappear (you try explaining to your 84 year old abuela why she cannot finish watching “Los Parientes Pobres). Glad to add 2 stars and thank you for the email address where I can send the above suggestions.

    This is the worst app and they try to charge for watching this piece of garbage, and if you call to complain; they even make it harder for you to watch it’s contents, they also charge you like if they are showing you the best there’s on tv or movies or docs but they are only mafia specially that they come from Televisa which is Mexico country dominant tv company and they are always doing bad, not good things for people specially poor people moreover; they became partners with Univision the Spanish Tv company which also descrimites even their own Spanish people bc they are managed by Cubans, Puerto Ricans Venezuelans they are all together rel mafia guys I gave them many opportunities they even played with my programs like run them and cut them off in the middle of me watching . Right now their last mafia kind of movement is that they are offering one year free subscription if you get TMobil internet for your home but they lied bc it’s one year and then later they tell you it’s not for our special programs , hahahaa always mafia and more mafia trying to get your hard earned money. I’m not paying not one more pennie for this garbage!!!
