Doesn't work & now old app won't connect

The new app assumes you have a new machine with a screen that will generate a code to link up. My s95 doesn't generate a code and there's no other way to link. The kicker is the old app doesn't work at all anymore so there's zero connection ability.

If this is not the case then where are the instructions to connect older (bought one year ago) machines?

If it is the case, then I think I'm done settling for subpar electronics. The charger USB never worked, the fan is so weak I can't feel it and my iphone sounds much better than the speakers. Zero response from customer service despite multiple attempts. And to think I bought this machine because it was known for its high quality and great customer service.

Incompatible with new treadmill

I just bought a brand new F63 Sole treadmill and it doesn’t have a QR code on it and the app doesn’t give an option to connect via Bluetooth.

Also: It’s “streak” not “strike.”

Why must I build an account?

Why on earth have you decided that I have to create an account on your system in order to use your exercise device With my iPad. I’m seriously annoyed. I just would like to use my device without sharing my personal information with you.

No longer track my outdoor biking!

Updated app and it no longer has and outdoor portion of the app. Been riding my bike outdoors since March with this app and now it is gone! Totally upset with Sole Fitness!

Response from developer

We are so sorry. Sole Fitness App or SOLE+ only co-works with SOLE Fitness machines. Of course if you have a Garmin wearable device and use Garmin Connect App you can configure the Sole Fitness App or SOLE+ App to receive the Garmin workout data. And you still can track the outdoor biking.

Works flawlessly w/2021 F85

I don’t usually write reviews but there are so many negative reviews for this app and many are outdated. I just want to give an updated perspective. The app accurately tracks my treadmill workout calories and mileage and sends the data to Apple health.
It took a couple tries to initially sync using QR code but once synced it has stayed that way for over the month I’ve had it without issue. The app itself is very basic and it could definitely be better if it integrated with other 3rd party apps like wahoo fitness, MyFitnessPal, Fitbit, swift…etc. but if you are looking for a simple way to track your indoor mileage this is a good app.
A side note—the 2021 f85 treadmill firmware updates have definitely improved the treadmill as well and many of the past reported issues have been resolved.

Functional most of the time but not great

I have been using both the Sole fitness app and Sole+. That's the only way I have been able to get the Sole+ app to work. Apparently the Sole app gathers the workout data, uploads it to your Sole account and then the Sole+ app can access it. I haven't figured out a way to connect the Sole+ app directly to my f63 treadmill. The documentation is essentially non existent. Is it supposed to connect directly? That would be much nicer. It's very clunky too have to use both apps. It also misses uploading some of the days which is really annoying as it throws off all the charts and makes it unusable to track. You also should be able to pair to your phone and not have to pick the treadmill to connect to every time you open the app

Response from developer

thanks for your feedback. We are trying to solve how to let one APP to support all type of SOLE fitness equipment. we will announce the information once we make it.

Is this real?

I cant imagine a worse app. Adds no value. Most of the app doesn't even work. This should just upload the information into other more reputable apps such as the Fitbit app, or myfitnesspal and just call it quits.

How about Fitbit integration?

I just downloaded the app and only saw Garmin and Apple. Fitbit would be a great addition and something for Android users.

This app doesn’t work!

I bought the elliptical thinking that the workout data would be saved, but it is reliant on this horrible app. I can’t get anyone to call me back from the company and there a hasn’t been any improvements.

Response from developer

Currently SOLE+ didn't support bluetooth connection to fitness machines. New F85 can upload workout data via WiFi . SOLE+ can sync. and display the data from cloud. We are planning to let SOLE+ be able to connect our most machines via bluetooth. please wait.

Crashed when connected

Every time the app connected to my treadmill it crashed.

I know the app is supposed to be able to write workouts to apple fitness, etc. But, it would be nice if it could integrate into Fitness Plus or other aspects of Apple Fitness.

It's 2021, it's time for tech to work together ....

Response from developer

thanks for your comments. SOLE+ are being developed to support our more model of fitness machines now. Please wait for a while. The SOLE+ which supports all series of SOLE fitness machines is under developing and will be released soon.
