Terrible service
They have unrealistic hoops for service processes and it goes against how my phone manufacturer (Apple) recommends. Stay far away from this company. Bad service

Don't Let The Negative Reviews Fool You
I've had Akko for a few months and was very skeptical because of the negative reviews. Well, i had a crappy accident with my Canon lens while working which resulted in damages near $600. After filing a claim, I provided all the requested information and a receipt once the repair was complete. I paid a small deductible and they covered the rest! Yes! So worth it. You cant beat this insurance.

SCAM
This company seems legit at first but they do not respond to customer service. They charged my card after canceling A YEAR AGO, and I am unable to cancel my subscription and receive a refund through the app (website as well) due to glitches or bugs that make it seem like the app is crashing? Ironically, a similar situation happens on their website.

For a fintech they are not very techie
I bought the family “unlimited phone” plan. It shows it under my plan but the app will not allow me to add more than one phone. Frustrating

I hereby confirm that this company really did help me with my phone. My phone got burned, and they replaced it. Full price. Whatever you see bad comments in there – those people probably didn’t follow the rules, but I can confirm that those people really did help me and they are legit. Thank you Akko team.

Affordable Insurance
I was having issues with the app crashing on iOS 17.2 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. After deleting all data and reinstalling, it seems to be working fine.
Annoying Slow and Glitchy
User experience is terrible with this app. It has the foundations of decent app but the sheer amount of bugs and slow responsiveness makes it a slog to do something as simple as adding a device. Please implement better quality and testing standards.
