I got it for Netflix for dual language on screen, it doesn’t work and there is no customer support to rectify the issue. I am a paid member, they just take your money and do not care if the app or extension on the browser is not working, I have already submitted 2 tickets but no response and no customer care number. The extension defaults all shows on Netflix to Spanish when I am trying to learn French. -1 out 10 do not recommend. The catalog is boring and has limited shows for the price of admission.

Trial is a scam
I canceled the trial in time and was still charged.
The Netflix function only works at PC - no ipad or iphone compatibily.

Very helpful app
Enjoying learning using this app, particularly like how you can slow videos down, press words you don’t understand in the subtitles, and get tested on those words. Good choice of programmes to watch. Highly recommend.
Less languages

Great idea, almost no content
The idea behind this is great, instead of reading or listening to stock sentences you watch TV shows and get to pull the language apart almost in real time. Then you get flash cards as soon as the show finishes. And it works with Netflix.
That's the theory anyway. In practice the amount of content is so microscopic you'll run out within a few weeks, days even. The Netflix stuff doesn't help much either as it's only a tiny, tiny, tiny subset of the Netflix catalogue. And you can only watch the Netflix stuff via a PC browser, not the app.
With a LOT not content this would be a winner, but right now it's really limited to novelty value. There are literally just a handful of things to watch, it's genuinely surprising how little there is. This is for learning Japanese, perhaps the other languages have more on offer.

Good luck
I was very excited when I discovered this app. However, I was disappointed very soon. It’s very odd. I joined and everything seemed very cool. $200 for a lifetime subscription sounded like a great deal. Long story short, there was a billing glitch and every time I went to retry my card or update my info. Of course it would not let me. It just freezes so I ended up having to make another account. The same thing happened. eventually my third or fourth account worked. I’ll start off by saying the Netflix portion is very limited and you do need a Netflix account. A lot of the time the grammar index will not show up, glitches, translates improperly and advertises that they have more episodes of series that they do not. The biggest thing of all is that each time I tried to get help with my accounts support will send you an automatic message, saying they are working to help but you never hear from them again, there is no tech support system. Be careful for what membership you do because when I logged in on Google they wanted to charge me $200 for an annual membership. When I login on the app it’s 200 for life. That is very odd and overall, I am disappointed that’s funny.

BEWARE SCAMMERS! NO CANCEL OPTION!!
Lingopie allowed my child to enter his kid’s debit card and will not allow to cancel. We’ve tried the fake “help” section on multiple web browsers and from the app. The help says simply go to your “account page” under “plan” click on “update membership” and you will see all of the plan and canceling options. LIES! LIES! LIES! None of that exists! From the website the only thing you can click on is 1. Absolutely nothing because after you login there is literally no “Account page” anywhere 2. If it logs into the original web browser he used to sign up for the account the only option is to UPDATE HIS PAYMENT CARD! Sorry my kid only has 1 card and it only has his hard earned allowance money on it, which isn’t the $36 they’ve repeatedly tried to charge-thank goodness or they would’ve stolen more money from him! Of course in the “help” section none of the “options” they give are actual links-like a legitimate website would have. We tried to use the chat function but guess what… “cancel subscription” yielded zero results!

Can’t use my purchase
I used to be happy with this. Now not so much; sorry, I have renewed my subscription which was on sale and I can’t download anything and on top of everything it still was on trial. I tried reinstalling; nothing worked sorry. Need my money back please.
