  • It’s still Amazing!

Love the classes, the instructors and the workouts! Nothing but motivation and inspiration! There are a variety of workouts you can do from the mat, Pilates, the strength machine and the new Lit Axis! I love that there’s always something new and exciting to keep the workouts and classes motivating! Overall I love everything about the app and the variety of workouts and you can take any type of class at anytime! Thank you Lit Method!! Hands down the BEST!
  • Best Rowing Machine on the market!!!

This is absolutely the best rower in the market. I have enjoyed every second of this rower, from the change water resistance to the multiple attachments to add resistance bands to turn this into a Pilates / Strength machine when I’m looking for a lower impact workout session. I love the app that walks me step by step with motivation and proper form set up. Customer Service has been amazing from the moment of my first purchase. Thank you Lit Method for keeping my fitness options open.
  • LOVE the Axis system - wish there were more classes!

I used to go to a Pilates studio but for budget reasons, as well as having a toddler and a baby on the way, I decided to stick to home workouts.

I purchased the LIT Axis system and I’ve been loving it so far! I even took it on a work trip with me and was able to do a full workout in my hotel room. Feels just as effective as my Pilates reformer classes!

One thing I would ask, though, is for more classes. I feel like I’m doing the same classes over and over. Without the Strength Machine or the Bar, there are only so many classes available. There are also only FOUR prenatal classes. Over the course of 9 months, it gets old quickly doing the same four workouts over and over again. But a LOT of the other workouts have a core focus that I have to modify for my pregnancy, and it’s tough to modify sometimes without an instructor telling me how to do that. Many of the classes say “added December 2022” - I don’t see any for 2023 (or at least not a lot?) Please update the classes and add more pre-/post-natal classes :)

    Thanks!
  • Black and Neon background is distracting

I love the concept behind the Axis bands and the program. But most of the workouts take place with a black background with neon lights. I find this very distracting and hard to make out what the coaches are doing. A few workouts have pastel background which are much more pleasant to follow. I wish they would use light, clean looking backgrounds for more of their workouts.
  • Too expensive for a so-so equipment and a poor app experience

The machine is at best ok (they sell you the rower plus the axis bands, and the carabiners on the bands really struggle to clip and unclip to the rower, they’re clearly too small… it’s their products 200% and can’t get it to match?! And when you assemble the rower your realize that it could have come with a sensor they never told you about and it’s another 100$).

But the real crap is the app.
I’ve reinstalled it five times (the only troubleshooting they suggest), it never once asked for permission to the health/fitness app. Even more weirdly they call that “connect to your Apple Watch”, what about just read and write workouts into Apple Health like any decent app does?
Also, if that “connect to Apple Watch” were to ever work then you’d have to workout with your phone, not an iPad, which defeats the whole purpose of a “bring your own screen” tablet attachment approach.

Overall, why too many brains went into designing the machine and the app and they clearly never talked to each other nor know what they’re doing.

I do like Tiffany’s Pilates machine workouts so that’s where the 2 starts are coming from.
  • Workouts are great, the app could use some work.

My app records workouts on the wrong day regularly - obviously not a huge deal, but can sometimes make tracking workouts confusing.
For example, today (10/16) my app says I have not worked out, despite doing so, yet I already have a workout recorded as complete for tomorrow. It may be a timezone issue, but there are no settings to adjust that.

There are also weird metrics listed or there are typos. The total weight lifted increases by 5-10 thousand pound increments, until you hit 100,000. After that, the next increment is 2.5 million, followed by 5 million which seems like a huge jump.
  • Cool concept, bad update

Update wiped out Apple Watch sync possibilities. The start button on the Apple Watch doesn’t exist anymore. Hit start workout on phone and it says to hit start on watch, as normal. But watch screen is only half of what it used to be. So I can’t sync them together for heart rate and metrics, which is a big part of the whole system. Big glitch. The app itself is pretty confusing to navigate as well.
  • Customer Service

I’m back. I want to write a quick review on the customer service. I had a very small issue with my rower sensor. The Lit team went over and beyond to resolve the problem with troubleshooting, EXCELLENT communication. And prompt responses. Well done Lit team for carrying about your product and customers!
  • Needs Work

It’s a decent app that could be better with some changes. I wish the on demand class section had a way to let you see if you’ve already taken the class. It’s super annoying to have to search through your taken classes by year and month. I’m also not happy that they removed the “open gym” exercise library.

I too have had negative experiences with customer service. They don’t seem to care about their customers. Very focused on expansion.
  • Needs Work

It's an ok app, but a couple of things would make it great for me. The app recently removed the open gym exercise library which I'm unhappy about. It also would be nice to be able to see if you have already taken a class when scrolling through the on demand. It's super annoying to see your classes taken by month and year.
