Doesn’t work with lightning cable

Have iPhone 11 Pro IOS 14.2. Copy That doesn’t recognize Envoy ProEx with USB C using lightning to USB-C cable. (It sees the drive when I used app with an iPad Air 4 and USB-C to USB-C cable).

When connecting iPhone to MacBook Pro running Catalina Copy That only shows iCloud.

Currently the doesn’t work with my iPhone 11 Pro.

ADDENDUM:
****. Talked with tech support. Requires a self powered drive for iPhone. I ordered a powered adapter which hopefully will work. WILL NOT WORK WITH A BUS POWERED DRIVE

Response from developer

Glad to hear you got some assistance. Some bus powered drives (like simple thumb drives) work with most iPhones. "Bigger" drives often require more power than the phone will provide. We also have a helpful guide available at https://eshop.macsales.com/blog/69022-connect-external-storage-to-iphone-ipad/ with additional suggestions.

No network shares

Although the description says you can copy to network shares, I can’t find a way to do it.

Response from developer

Hi--for help with connecting to network shares, please check out our article at https://eshop.macsales.com/blog/69022-connect-external-storage-to-iphone-ipad/.

Buggy app

- crashes unexpectedly
- payment of in-app purchase fee fails to give access to 3rd-party cloud storage services

Only works with connected memory

Unfortunately this app only supports local storage and connected memory. It does not support cloud services or other destinations found in the Files app.

Response from developer

Hi--sorry to hear about your disappointment. This is currently by design--most 3rd-party cloud services have their own sync capabilities, but we'll certainly consider adding this in a future release!

Copy What?

Zero files copied. Has to be the most confusing app I’ve ever seen. I’m trying to copy photos to my iCloud and it won’t allow me to select any photos to copy from my iPhone. And it creates more folders in my iCloud folder beneath the destination folder I chose. Why can’t it simply allow photos to be copied to my Mac hard drive? Totally frustrating.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback! We've added more features in the latest version, including the ability to filter photos by date, and to customize the destination folders (including turning them all off).

Pls no folders

Please give us the option of not choosing folder structures in saving the photos. I prefer to have my photos in one folder only.

Thx

Copy to what? No external drives show.

Half baked user beta nonsense

Genius App!

Would expect nothing less from such an innovative company. Amazing and very much needed in the age of content creation!

Promising

It appears good was able to copy a test photo to a shared folder inside my network. It would be awesome if this utility actually allowed to copy purchased music and movies

Exactly right!

This app makes an otherwise tedious task wildly simple. Don’t forget all OWC USB-C docs are 100% spec compliance so your iPad Pro can absolutely plug-in to the travel doc and use every port.
