Mr. Miami
This app can’t even allow you to do what it was created for. Gifting process is horrible. You guys need to be shut down because this is a fraud of an app!!! I never review apps but do not waste your time downloading.
Terrible experience
This app made the bites of Seattle absolutely terrible. There was no inability to cancel order so if the food truck ran out of what you paid for, you were out of luck. Little to zero help from the app workers to facilitate people on site. Just another poor example of a software company trying to do way too much.

Awful
Just another tech company stealing your personal data and making money off processing fees. Perhaps everyone at this company can get an ethical job instead of fixing a problem that never needed to be fixed.
If CHEQ sponsors
sponsors bite of Seattle again, won’t go back. Gave one star bc I can’t give zero. Have to use app to purchase anything. Find food on app. Purchase through app. Stand in line to check in at food stand. Then stand in another line to scan card. Then stand to side to wait for food. Basically 4 different lines to purchase food.

Do not use this app even if it’s mandatory
Was forced to used this during Bite of Seattle. There are so many things wrong with this app that I don’t even know where to begin.
- In order to get your order processed you have to wait in a line, which defeats the purpose of online ordering
- One of the vendors ran out of an item that I already paid (and waited) for and told me that I had to go to a “customer support” booth to get a refund
- Customer support did nothing except tell me that they would get back to me later (they never did)
- Completely inaccessible for those without a phone (and risky for those with low battery such as in my case)
If there’s an event that requires you to use this app, don’t even bother ordering anything.

This App is Ruining Events
The app's UI is abysmal, but the app is pointless to begin with. This company is ruining events by forcing people to use their terrible app, and preventing vendors from accepting cash or card, which should be illegal. It's gatekeeping events from people without smartphones, selling the data of everyone forced to use it, and taking a cut of vendor sale, and making lines longer than ever.

Bite of Seattle Fiasco
As a co-owner of a dessert business. My family and I were very excited to participate in the bite of Seattle as a vendor. We are native Seattleites and spent many years attending as guests. I want to first say thank you to all of the attendees and customers. You were incredible and we appreciate your business. Cheq however is a different story. Between the smug, condescending, and rude behavior of the CPO Aniket Naravanekar during initial demo, weeks before the bite. He refused to acknowledge the concerns of the vendors, all of which came true. The outages that occurred without any notification or explanation from Cheq, our own sign being misprinted and then taken away to not be fixed for 11 hours. Closing of our shop on the app 30 minutes early on Friday without any warning to vendors or attendees. And lastly, the fact that every vendor had to spend time training attendees on how to properly use the app, taking time away from prep, service, and most importantly the attendees overall experience. Cheq owes an explanation and apology to every small business that was present as a vendor at the bite of Seattle (the country’s largest food festival).

How to ruin the bite of Seattle
What’s the point of ordering online if you still wait in line? No coordination with the vendors on how to handle the system leads to more friction to ordering and picking up. Toss in network availability issues any you have folks that can’t order not pick up their food. Overall terrible experience.
Horrible
Downloading the app was slow and once downloaded it was difficult to find what you wanted. The service app is horrible.
Not user friendly
There are several flaws with this app. It’s very glitchy and you can search by food unless you know the name of the vendor. I initially thought when I placed the order at the Bite of Seattle, I would receive a notification that my food is ready. Nope you have to wait in line to check in with the vendor and then wait again since they will start making the food at the time of check in. We only ate two things at the Bite of Seattle and decided to go somewhere else after. Even the vendors complained how horrible this system was.
