Overly complicated setup

You can view your trips on the website in a pretty straightforward fashion but if you want to be able to view your hostory you'll need the app. Simple right? No.

Lack of help screens means that if things don't work as expected you'll find yourself in an endless loop.

Also, you can't set up an account until 24hours after your first trip, which you don't find out until halfway through the setup process (which can include taking a screen capture of a very long transaction number, transcribing it to text and then pasting that into a form filed). Very sloppy.

Downloaded App can’t add card

Can’t add card and there’s a 403 error for the nginx comment from May 7 is having was having a similar issue

No good for couples

My wife and I have credit cards but since we only have one account, they both have the same number. So we can’t travel together. We have multiple debit cards but they can’t be used.

Great for tracking travel spend when in NL

Used UK debit card for first trip on NL train without issue. Upon starting the second trip on a NL train I was able to get the all important transaction reference to add my Debit card to the OVPay app. Following this on a recent visit to Rotterdam I was pleased to see realtime push notifications of my check in and check outs on the RET allowing me to see spend and whether I had checked in and checked out. Great system and app not well understood by other international visitors.

App hangs on launch

Every time I open the app it just sits there with the processing spinner. Deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help.

App crashes on 16 Pro Max

The app crashes on the latest iPhones even with the latest update. Older versions on TestFlight also don’t work. Please fix asap since it’s been almost 1 month since the new iPhones came out.

Support needed

This app works fine on an older iPhone, but on the iPhone 16 Pro, either the new hardware, software, or deeply embedded configuration data causes the OVpay splash screen to show and then an indefinite loading spinner against a pink background. I’ve tried reinstalling the app numerous times, restarting the phone, removing OVpay from iCloud backup, etc. but nothing has worked. I also tried emailing support but haven’t received a response. Please assist if possible. Thank you.

Wont add card

Tried a million times. App is worthless country should get its money back from developers

Horrible

Half you need to do in the app, half on the website, website FAQ is out of date with the app. You first need to add a card for searching trips while on the website you can do it by adding the payment reference and the amount.
Card can only be added by finding a payment reference. What a terrible experience…

Can't believe in 2024

Any action take so many friction to finish.. Don't spend your time on that.
