Great app - bad reviews misunderstand what it does

Attention! This app does not allow you to pay for public transit in the Netherlands. Instead, it allows you to track what you've spent and when you checked in and out with your credit card.

To set it up, create an account and then register a charge that shows up on your card once you've tapped your card or Apple Pay on any transit reader.

The app allows you to set up notifications for certain events and is very straightforward. I cannot find any complaint and I wish other cities and countries have this feature as well.

Well done, the Netherlands! Not only did you crush physical infrastructure, you did a good job on this digital infrastructure as well!

Can’t add card

At the step when you try to add a credit card instructions are missing! There are circles for step 1 and 2, it nothing is written there. Illustration is also pretty pointless. What am I supposed to do?

Hi! That is weird, there should be instructions. How about after updating the app? I've forwarded your feedback to the developers. I'll get back to you when I know more.

Reminder- You don’t add your card to pay on this app, just monitor spend and use!

Once I added our recent trips via our bank account transaction details it was quite convenient dashboard to monitor spending and any missed checks (in or out).

Hoping those that believe this is a payment method app are aware it’s only a transaction log and dispute resolution tool.

Useless

The app doesn’t allow for a card to be entered. I see the screen flash up for half a second then it vanishes and goes straight back to add a card.

Terrible App - Avoid

Traveled Netherlands for work and used the app. Being overcharged for transportation. The app was disrupted for more than 24 hours. Have a feeling of a scam app.

I'm sorry to hear this! If you're being overcharged, you can always adjust this via the app or website. If not, please call our customer services. They'll gladly adjust this for you.

Useless

I can even use the card. Every time I get to the step , 'add card', it defaults back to the 'have you traveled with you're debit or credit card before'. When I say no, it says, 'add card' and the cycle repeats.

Hi Kelly! Thanks for your review. You can simply check-in and -out with your debit/credit card as is. You do not have to do anything before this. After you've traveled, you can link your payment method to the app, to see your trips.

Add OV-Chipkaart to app please!

Please can you add the ability to add your yellow personal OV-Chipkaart into this app as well, not just debit/credit cards.

This would be such a great feature as sometimes I forget to bring my card with me, but I always have my phone. It’s a great back up plan and just plain makes sense overall.

I have a subscription with my chipkaart that gives me discounts.. I would love to also use my subscription by only scanning my phone.
Is this possible? Make it happen please!!

Thanks for your feedback, Ryan! This will be possible later on, but not yet. Right now the app is only available for trips with your debit or credit card.

Awful

How can you expect people to use this if they’ve never travelled in this country before. I choose that I’ve not travelled before and it puts me in a perpetual loop. Waste of my time.

Hi! I'm sorry to hear this. To be able to add your card to the app and view your trips, you have to have used your card in public transport. But you do not need to do anything beforehand. You can just check in & out with your debit or credit card in de bus, tram, metro or train. After this, you can use the app, but you don't have to.

No idea how to add card

As a visitor, it is good idea that if I can add card before arrive Netherland

However it is impossible to add card, as I not yet use debit card to travel. Then I can’t add the card
