  • Customer service none responsive charged for services not granted.

    I purchased services that included texting with therapist and 4 video sessions a month. Their automatic system hooks you up with a therapist. It doesn’t tell you whether that therapist even preforms the services you purchased. The therapist they hooked me up with didn’t do the video sessions. Which was the expensive part of the subscription. Now she didn’t tell me for almost 2 weeks in. So I missed almost half of what I payed for. Now I can switch therapists, but again they might not do it either. I wouldn’t know till after a introduction period. So I am gabbling on whether the services are granted.

    How is this stress and feeling of being cheated help a person that needs therapy for loosing self esteem from being used.

    They only have a email for support. It says real time messages. It’s been three days 0 messages back. I want you to cancel my service Calmerry. I also want a refund for the remainder of the month.

We have a matching agent who assigns a counselor to the client, not a system. If you were assigned to a counselor who provides only messaging therapy, most likely they forgot to mention it in their profile. But of course, since the matching process is handed by human, there could be a mistake. But you can always reach our support team for a discussion or request another therapist.
  • App issue

    The app for me has not been working for more then a week. There has been limited features because of this. I’ve been in contact with them several times and told their working on resolving it. I paid a lot of money out of pocket for everything and I’m not able to use it. I need to and should be able to fully communicate with my counselor. I should be able to setup video appointments.. I’m giving it a few more days and I’m cancelling, taking a loss and finding elsewhere.

    When things were working like they were supposed to the Calmerry was good and helpful.

  • Straight up a scam.

    You get into the first screen and it first tries to claim the bot your are talking to is a human. Which idk if mine just didn’t understand English or it was a bot, and after questioning said bot it really only gets worse. My girlfriend was having trouble just imputing the address so I tried to hop on as I’m looking into therapy options and this was just sad. We had the same bot even though downloading it on different days which logically makes no sense how can one person answer the whole apps messages. After reading the credible reviews online it’s pretty clear this is a scam stay away.

    Hello! Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry you had the wrong impression. We provide 24/7 customer support service for our clients. Of course, it is not maintained by one person. We are not using a bot system since every case is unique.
  • Unsafe Counselors

    I have an eating disorder and I’m underweight… my counselor suggested I take up weight training. … to help me lose more weight? I was appalled. Consider more reputable apps like Betterhelp and Talkspace where they seem to vet their therapists more thoroughly.

But we are sorry if you didn't have a good experience with your counselor. Please, keep in mind that you can request to change a counselor. You can also contact our support team, and they will find the best solution.
  • App not user friendly

    You can’t manage your own subscription, pay, or schedule a video session on the app. I’m constantly chatting with their support team. They told me I had to delete the app today to change my subscription and now I have to re-download it, which makes no sense. The only benefit is that it keeps applying the first time user promo code every time I change it. Once I achieve my goals with my current therapist I plan to ditch Calmerry altogether due to the app/platform.

You can schedule video sessions on the app, it is possible from the client's side as well as from the counselor's. It is true that you can't manage your subscription by yourself (upgrade/downgrade/cancel), however, our support team is here for you 24/7, and they won't keep you waiting for a reply!
  • Invoices can’t be submitted to insurance

    They connected me with a wonderful therapist but they weren’t able to issue a basic super bill that I can submit to insurance so I had to cancel.

  • Robot Therapy?

    It felt like the therapist were from a call center… They sent massive responses and had no sort of flow to the conversation… They took over 24hrs to respond. What if i needed someone to talk to? It would’ve already been to late. Save your money and don’t do this!!!

    Hello Sahhn. Thanks for the feedback. Please note that it takes up to 24 hours for first contact, usually less, as the counselor just needs some time to rearrange their schedule for a new client. Some of the counselors do send informative messages to let the clients know about their therapy approach, their experience, and specialties. However, if you prefer more informal communication you can surely let the counselor know, as their goal is to make you feel comfortable during your therapy sessions!
  • No transparency or accountability

    There are no prices on the site and after spending an hour with a slow unresponsive agent. Their 42/week is a lie. Yes it says “from $42” but that’s just the first month discount. There are no plans at this rate. I’ve reviewed their dishonest process once and they decided that it wasn’t their fault that they don’t bother listing prices on their site. Every other negative review is a rebuttal with little accountability for their bad service. There shouldn’t be a problem with clients connecting with their therapists. It’s on calmerry to pick quality therapists which has been shown to be shoddy at best. It’s on calmerry to fix the closed accounts that continue to get charged. Just bc its subscription doesn’t make it right to take a clients money when they’re account was closed without their knowledge and they keep trying to contact their counselor. You get what you pay for. Before you give this company any of your money, look at more transparent companies like better health or talk space.

    Hello. Thank you for the review. Our prices are available in your client profile for you to choose any plan among the available ones. The prices indeed start from $42 a week, as our Monthly Messaging plan will cost you only $42 weekly for the first month. We clearly show the prices for the following months, as well the prices for other, more expensive plans. Our plans with videos sessions cost more, as they take more of the counselor's time, since we hire only licensed, experienced counselors, their time should be paid fairly. Please note that since it is a subscription based service, the account is charged automatically, until the client requests to cancel the subscription. If you send your request, we will do so within minutes! All the client are informed beforehand that and you can see on your profile the scheduled dates for your next invoices. We hope this clarifies the situation.
  • No helpful and does not communicate

    Signed up for the service and immediately they stopped answering me after taking my payment. I have tried calling the phone numbers provided which lead no where. This is a scam. Do not try this
