This has replaced scanner pro for general use. It’s faster and more intuitive. Great job!

Wonderful App!
I purchased the app immediately after using up the 10 or so free scans.
Brilliant results from a utility app that’s easy and fun to use. You can indeed scan anything, I even scanned my cat as she sat still on the mat!
The only improvement that I would wish for is to have an on screen grid, to frame objects and line up text, that can be switched on or off in the app’s settings.Show lessPaj50

I usually need to scan a lot of documents and permission slips for school. This app makes it so easy to scan and send straight to my teachers. My favorite feature is the text scanner.
I have ADHD, so I need to keep notes everywhere so I don't forget stuff. With the text scanner, I can scan and copy text from hand-written sticky notes directly into my notes on my phone, which then syncs to all my other devices. Thank you for this awesome app!Show lessNeon Studios2
Pretty Good
The Object scanning is the best around. However, the scanning of actual pages is nowhere near as good as other apps that are the same price (as the unlimited version of scan things). If the scanning of paperwork part of the app (the most important part) was improved, this would be a 5 star app because the object scanning deserves 5 stars. Great but......
The app is great for doing what it claims but one more action is needed. In object mode it needs to create not only a solid white background but a clear background to so that the image can be place over a selected background and look part of that scene. Others, congratulations.JamesHG8245

Thank you for the review! Regarding the white background: Scan Thing exports images as PNG files with transparent backgrounds. The white / black background you might notice when viewing the image in the Photos app is simply what iOS puts behind transparent images and depends on whether your device is in Light or Dark Mode. I was very intrigued by other apps with the same capabilities, but privacy concerns kept me from using them. This developer doesn’t need to take my data, and it looks like everything happens in my device. I love that, and that’s why I’m willing to pay for, and recommend this app.Aztec crow
Blows every other scan app outta the water!
Amazing doesn’t begin to describe this app. I’ve used at least a dozen different scanning apps and they all seem prehistoric compared to this. It simple. It’s POWERFUL. Best of all, it’s cheap...like really cheap...for what you get. All that with no collecting or selling user data.

Much better than clipdrop
At a lot cheaper price too! My area has spotty signal, so clipdrop doesn't always work, with this app i don't have to worry about my phone signalipooprainbow
